Asking for post "Thanked" in exhange for something

Is it okay with Warrior Forum if you ask warriors to give you a "Thanked" for your post in exchange for something? I am planning to post my own service on the Warriors For Hire soon. I thought it would give me more credibility if I have lots of "Thanked" for my post. So I thought what if I ask my clients to "Thanked" me to get my bonus or something.

    Most people get them by telling a good joke or providing value in posts that help others. Seems pretty meaningless to get them with a bribe.

    EDIT: The fact that you just joined and have very few posts has more influence on your credibility than thanked posts do. A lot of people prefer to do business with people who participate more in the discussions, who help people and have been around longer.

      You would have more credibility if you ask satisfied clients to give you a testimonial that you can publish. Give away a few review copies in exchange for an honest review of your service to get you started.
