Default Updated perspective of a tired question....

Please read the entire post before posting.
Please tell me what you think of the following...this is my opinion.

Many people post on the forum that they have made a reasonable income in a reasonable amount of time.

In theory it is entirely possible to make $1000,$3000,$5000 a month, even in your first month. If you know how.
I know that there are many variables such as whether you choose a good niche, ect. But many people who have done it. (Made reasonable income in reasonable time)
There are many different routes people can take in IM and because of this many newbies struggle. (For various reasons posted elsewhere on the forum)
We are all too use to hearing the 'how long will it take to make $2000 per month? Or can i make $100,000 in my first year? And all the other variations of the question. The reason we get so many different answers is because
a)It depends on what method you use
b)It depends how much time you spend on it each week/month (Some people may be able to spend 2 hours a day on average, others have 12hours a day.
c)It depend on where you learn. Such as-WF-Google/free info-coaching- Paid info products-ect.
d)How much you implement what you learn (Taking action)
e)Quite a few other reasons.

BUT.
All that said, if we choose the right method, the right niche, follow the advice that we repeatedly are told day in and day out....then surely we can make $1000 in the first month, $3000 in the second month and even $100,000 in the first year.
Of-coarse it takes a different skill set to earn $10,000pm than it does to earn $2000pm but again it's just a case of learning the method that works and implementing it. (whether it's $2000 or $10,000)

So in conclusion,
yes it is all possible, if you are shown the right method(s).
Many, many people however will choose methods that are much slower either because they think it is the 'only way' to make money or because
they have brought rubbish products or not implemented them. (There are many more reasons but these are just some of the popular ones.)

It doesn't have to be difficult either, just find a good method or product that teaches you how to make that money and follow the blueprint.

100 sales of a $20 product (50% com) would make $1000 that isn't difficult is it? Even for a noob, given a quality product can earn this in their first, say 4-7weeks or what ever. And it's very possible (and even likely) to make $3000 in your first two months if you follow a good 'blueprint'
What do you think? What points do you agree and not agree with? What parts would you add to/have I missed?
And I would also be grateful if you wouldn't mind noting whether you are a newbie, intermediate or an expert. (No offense but the opinion of a very successful person has more 'meaning')
Thank you for your time, sorry the post ended up so long.

I agree with most of what you said...

Here is where I think that people go wrong, even if they have the best of intentions...

I think people don't stick things out long enough. They read a "new method", follow all the steps, don't make $100 a day by the end of the week and throw it in the trash and then spend $47 on a new ebook.

When in reality, if they just would have hammered it out and kept at it, they would have hit the $100 a day mark.

Here is a prime example. People post here all the time about their income decreasing, in their post they mention that when they started they were spending $50 a day on Adwords or writing 4 articles a day or whatever their traffic generation method was. Now, they are not writing any articles and the forgot to pay their Adwords bill. The point is, they have taken the word "auto-pilot" too literally

It's the same thing with the person that buys a new ebook, reads it all the way through and then starts putting the method into action. Before you know it, they are saying that the method is garbage and doesn't work and they can't understand how people make money with it. If you talk to them a little more, you find that they built a niche site on weight loss to promote and their keyword list looks like this:

Lose weight
fast weight loss
diet
best diets

Their keyword research sucked so, now they are jaded into thinking that nothing works. Same can be said for the guy that does everything right, but just picks a "bad" niche the first time around. Because they did not see instant results, they get frustrated and abandon their plan.

I don't really think that the methods themselves make a difference. I think you can make money and a good amount of money with all of the different methods. I personally think that it is just a matter of sticking it out.

I think it's 'these people' (I don't mean to sound rude) that add to the confusion for newbies....and confused newbies then complicate 'the starting out process' for other newbies. Much like lemmings bouncing off each other.
But hey i'm still a noob in every sense of the word-Looking forward to *starting* and making my first $ online within err-CB is monthly right?
