I am going to reveal, in front of thousands of you, just how ignorant I am. Ready? I write well and I understand PLR. My first intention was to bundle up some of these articles and sell them on the WSO. Now I see so much else I can do with these articles -- too much, in fact. I see folks who relate how their article is #3 on Google and I am puzzled. They are selling these articles to services, but how does the article then allow itself to be searchable? And if they are choosing to write about "hot" niches, how can their article compete with thousands and thousands of others? I understand keywords, but is that all it takes, to stuff the articles full of those? Doesn't everyone else do that, too? Are PLR packages or single articles sent to ezines more likely to reap benefits (of course I mean money)? I know I have asked similar questions in the week or so I've been aboard, but I wonder if someone with experience could tell me in the simplest language what a good plan of action is, perhaps a 1,2,3 or more steps to take. Then I promise to stop asking and start producing. Thank you from a timid warrior who wants to run with you big dogs. |

"too much, in fact" Ah... There's the rub.....Go for a plan... any plan and DO IT don't worry too much about what else you could do! Google likes (loves) original material you might be better off writing original stuff for warriors ... I'm always looking :-) or packaged up plr for autoresponders where originality isn't an issue.... good luck. |

It kills me to see so much confusion about this - it is so, so simple... For any given keyword: the Web page with the highest page rank, matching title and matching keywords in the content WINS the first position in SERPS for that keyword. The article can exist on your own blog, EZA, squidoo or anyplace at all on the Internet. Once your keyword is in the title and page content you have to beat everyone else's page rank. SEO then is simply a game of back-link acquisition to a specific Web page. That's why I think article marketing is the lamest marketing plan around - you STILL have to get backlinks to your article - so then why the heck would you not do that for you own site and build it's value instead of lining the pockets of the owners of EZA with link juice! |

I can get the same exact articles in higher position than EZA with ease even though they are considered an authority. So do the ones with PR really win ?? Not always the case. Personally I would rather build my site up and not some article directory that blast your articles with google ads to take your possible customers away. James | ||

What Chris said is true. There are a lot of things you can do with PLR articles, but don't try to do them all at once. Instead, take some time to consider your options, but settle on only one thing at a time. It's too easy to jump back and forth between options, spread your efforts thin, and eventually accomplish nothing.
