Default Any interest in definitive long-term business building resource?

In the few days I have been active here it seems to me there are so many people desperate to escape their j-o-b to create freedom through an online business.

Many seem to fail and lose the dream because building any long-term business - one that not only brings in 6 or more figures but can also be sold for up to 5 times profits - because the disciplines and approach required to succeed in the extremely tough bricks and mortar world are lacking online.

Over 33 years I have built three multi-million bricks and mortar businesses from scratch, and have been making fortunes on the Internet for 12 years.

I would be extremely surprised if anyone here could come up with someone with that level of achievement and experience on the Internet.

It has been occurring to me that I can help many people achieve their dream.

This is not why I am active here at all, and if anyone suggests that it is I will probably leave because all I genuinely want to do is help, which is why I have contributed 146 posts in less than a week, but I would like to feedback to see how many would be interested if I put something together?

I should point out that, having only just thought about it, I have not even started so far.

Please do not moderate this post off the board - it will not help other members.

Let me have your views please.

Hi, I'm happy for your successes
Do you have an example of what you've achieved?
I'm just getting on with my earnings, but I am open for more ideas

Like so many serial failures in the online world (to be honest, I haven't really tried much) I am always open to information and help. This forum has been very good to me from the point of view of information and morale building.

I am currently working with a very knowledgeable warrior on my own product but trying to apply what I very successfully used in the 'real' world has proved both frustrating and inneffective in the 'cyber' world where truth and fiction sleep very close together in the same bed.

It would seem to me that you have a unique point of view and I, for one, would be delighted to hear more of what you would wish to share.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Well it is difficult to provide "examples" as such. I founded my first bricks and mortar business - computer software - on $500, and built it to sales of $18M in 5 years - and that was yeas ago. Equivalent numbers would be twice that.

These days I make a lot of money - I will not say how much annually but I can and have made 5 figures in one day.

What I am proposing though is building a solid, long-term business that brings a reliable income each month and keeps growing and has real capital value.

What most people lack, and why they fail, is a coherent A through Z strategy.

Most jump in and get caught up in all the hype, throwing time and money at it and just hoping for the best.

I am proposing starting from scratch and building from there, but in a community environment, because mutual support is extremely valuable.

Building a business this way is not unique to bricks and mortar business, but does seem unique to IM.

Congratulations on your success,
and about the Long Term strategie, I
tottaly support you on that one.

Building a multim million dollar business ain't done
overnight and there is a good reason for that. Developing
the skills, traits and discipline to run this kind of business
is done over time and takes a long term strategie to accomplish.

It certainly does - 33 years in my case with plenty of ups and downs on the way.

But if I can help - and I can - and there are people out there that would benefit, then I will consider it.

The only other resource that is configured like that is Stomper Net, but not everyone wants to take out a second mortgage to join - even when it is open.

I think even Stomper Net is too general in some respects.

I would add that few products, courses etc teach the most important aspect of success - Mind - which is 90% of success as it is with sport and life generally.

If you do decide on putting together something I will definately be interested. I have read some of your other post and agree with you that a membership site is the best if not one of the best online business models and I'm working on getting one set up.

You are one of the few people here that I feel I could learn from. Not to say that others don't have valuable things to teach of course.

I would have great interest if you come up with something.

Hi Adrian,

First, If what you say about your business accomplishments is true then Congratz..Multi-million dollar businesses is not easy to build..

Now, regarding the total number of your post..I personally was quite amazed at how fast you were able to post. You just joined last month and was able to post so much already..surely some would raise their "brow" as to your real intentions..It is common knowledge in the internet marketing world that some people are utilizing outsourced agents to increase peoples forum post..But I'm totally giving you the benefit of doubt..

You seemed a good guy.. receiving 54 thank you's to date..So I guess you have an honest intention..

But if you are proposing a group venture already I think I myself would somehow have a question playing on the back of my mind..

Now, if you really are honest and just want to help a lot of people here then I would recommend that whatever you are planning..Do it for free..

But that's just me..

Hey Omar,

It's really uncommon, but it "is" a reality that some people "really just want to help", and they get a kick out of seeing others develope. I believe Adrian is sincere. I myself share his belief that you don't always have to have an angle. Particularly if you already make money in other ways. Many millionaires feel that way once they have achieved success.

If you study maslows pyramid of the hierarchy of human needs, you will find that it's human nature, after having accomplished alot to deveop a desire to "contribute" to others. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow%...archy_of_needs

Adrian is a wonderful example of an idealistic person to whom, others are more than just a stepping stone. Believe it or not those kind of people DO exist.

It's something that happens to a human when they exit 'survival mode" and enter "creative mode".

Until all of your needs are met in life you exist in 90% survival mode. Once your needs are met then you only exist in 10% survival mode and 90% creative mode.

That's when you can truly begin to contribute to others. Hope this helps.

I personally think it's a testiment that someone has enough helpful knowledge to offer that they actually "CAN" post so many meaningful things in such a short amount of time... I have noticed Adrian goes off for days at a time because I have tried to hunt him down a couple of times... that indicates that these posts are made during intense bursts of creative energy.

He's for real , I'm sure.

On that:

I saw someone else question his number of posts, and Paul Myers rebuttled on Adrians behalf. If anyone here knows a scammer it's Paul.

You are not alone. Alot of people have trouble believing in unabashed human kindness and/or selfless caring. The benevolent person does not go unrewarded though. It's just a different kind of reward.

Once you have money you need a different kind of reward... you already "have" the other kind.

Too many people are still exisitng in "survival mode", and truly dont have the resources to reach out to others.

You will find that once you exit survival mode and truly enter creative mode, alot of your own motivations will change. The "Father Of Human Nature" (Abraham Maslow) agree's with me.

You would really be fascinated to study that BTW.

No I'm not a "poster on Adrians staff" lol

Dont even know him outside the forum, however I "DO" recognize his "nature", and I believe he is genuine. He is a person who believes in "true abundance".

That simple.

I hope this inspires you at very best or amuses you at very least!
