I don't like spinning articles automatically as it usually brings up junk that doesn't make sense, but I use the synonym suggestion tool (doing it manually)- you know when you press 'tab' on each word, the software suggests 10-20 synonyms and you pick one. Is there a good free or low cost software or online tool as I don't want or use the full functions of a spinning program- just the synonym suggestion.

Do you want to rank for google ? cause that won`t work when trying to rank for google. Google now spots synonyms, you need to change some of the phrases also.

Thanks for the advice, I've been ranking well with Google (for product reviews) as I change synonyms and phrases as well, not submitting anything without checking for plagiarism and not doing any of this for my 2 authority sites (been hit badly in the past despite having unique articles, still can't take any risks). But you never know what happens in the next Panda Penguin updates. It is just too much brain work/ thinking, sitting down and writing 100% original articles for a few product review websites, especially for stuff I am not an expert in.

I have done that. But I must tell you that in the long run you loose. You should invest in writing good quality articles and grow your site article by article even if it gets more time. I can offer a solution if you want a cheap way to get articles. Just PM me and send you the info.

I've been online since the mid 90s and my thoroughly unscientific observation is that people browsing the 'Net are a lot more sophisticated these days than they were way back when when article spinning first became a "thing".

IOW, they'll spot a spun article almost instantly and form a low opinion of the site.

I don't think it matters if you're not the world's greatest writer or an expert. The important thing is that you present yourself as a real person with sincerely held opinions and beliefs.

Why not just say, "I'm no expert on this, but here's what I think"? And believe me, you "bad writing" will look a lot better than most spun articles.

People will recognize your articles as being written by a real person and respond accordingly.

            Just don't do it!

It's not what your prospects want to see.

It's not what Google wants to see.

There are many other alternatives to getting original unique content if you feel that you can't write.

Spun content is spun content regardless of how you spin it.

Forget about shortcuts that you want to take and be more concerned about giving your audience a wonderful experience.

Write your own original content or pay someone to write original content. Don't be lazy or try to take the easy way out. Article spinning turns out nothing but crap. I'd never buy anything from a website that has spun articles on it. I can spot them a mile away.

I still think that if you are going to use article marketing, you should at least write your own content and not have to use a software to spin or re-write your article for you.

    "The Best Spinner"
Google it. It has been very useful to me.
When you write or spin your article it has over 20 synonyms for every single word in a sentence. Last I checked it was 47$ here on the warrior forum.

You won`t need any other spinning software as long as you do this. Hope I helped you.

Replacing words of your article with their synonyms won't work. Google can sniff that out from a mile away. With that being said,I do use a tool called Spin Rewriter but I only use it do intelligent spinning that does a combination of things (synonym replacement, nested spinning,LSI replacement, etc). I use it to spin my descriptions and for small stuff like that.

They are especially helpful if you are submitting articles to article directories and it just makes the whole process a bit more interesting and saves time.

    Just don't do it.

Write quality articles yourself or if you don't have time pay a professional to do this for you.

I have had some really good luck with spun articles, the key is to not just spin a few words. People claim that does not work, because it doen't. If you really spin the content, on word and sentence level it works great. The issue is no one spinning the content themselves takes the time to do it right.

Take the time to do it right and the results will be good.

You may find it hard to write unique articles if you’re busy, I quite understand, but please, spare us from any more spun crap.

Thankfully the practice of spinning articles is dying out, which is lucky as the web was beginning to groan under the weight of illegible gibberish.

I often moan about Google’s constantly changing (evolving?) algorithms, however, if they get rid of spun content, I’m all for it.
It provides no value to the end user.

Spinning may once have helped with your rankings but today I doubt it does much good.
Even if it does still work, I don’t like it.

It’s a bit like an Olympic athlete taking a course of steroids to win the race – he may come first but he’s not really any good. In the long run he’ll get left by the wayside.

Visitors who land on these pages will leave in seconds unless they’re out of their minds on drugs.

If you want to build a loyal following of potential customers with an IQ of over 10, then use your imagination to produce something original, you know you can do it.

{Spinning|Altering|Changing} everyone else’s {content|articles|posts|information} is an irritating habit that needs stamping out.

I have never found an article spinner worth buying. They never make sense with the articles they spin. The best option is to write unique content yourself, or outsource to a quality provider. Also, you can start with PLR articles for ideas, and then make them your own to fit your website.

As a writer, I find it's easier to start from scratch and write a new article than it is to spin one. To do a good job with it, you have to basically rewrite it anyway so it's a huge waste of time to me. I no longer take rewrite jobs for that very reason.

It takes a lot of work and thought to spin an article well and not have it turn out like gibberish.

Having said that, it can be done.

I just finished re-writing an 800 word article, I spun sentences, paragraphs and changed synonyms within all the sentences and paragraphs. Took me 3 days to get it just right, but now it is a masterpiece and I can spin it 1,000 times and none of the versions look like gibberish and it has no grammatical errors. I also checked 20 of the versions that it produced for duplicate content at plagium ::: plagiarism checker & plagiarism tracker ::: home and they all passed inspection. I think I could probably check 500 versions and they would all pass.

To sum up, spinning an article properly takes a lot of effort and thought, and most people do not do it correctly. But it can be done. And once you get an article Super Spun you can make hundreds of good quality articles from it.

    Hi Greenowl123,

you're right - initially the process does take a long time, but it can be worth it as once the process is started, you can have tens or even hundreds of unique articles that you can submit to article directories and receive a lot of traffic from them for months to come.

I agree that article spinning often sucks.

    There's just no practical benefit...

Google hates it. Your end users hate it. Your random visitors won't like it.

Even manually spinning content is a bad idea... Because it's often just as quick to create your OWN content haha.

    My advice?

Create unique content, that HUMANS will love. Google will follow.

When I used to write and I had keywords that basically meant the same thing I would not spin. I was never satisfied with the results. I would use thesaurus.com for alternatives to some of my words, and I'd make sure to change up my phases so that when I checked it against the possibility of self plagiarism I would have a unique article.
In my writing history I have had gigs where the client wanted 5 different versions of the same thing, where they could shuffle the paragraphs to create several different articles. I HATED that work. Again using a spinner was unsatisfactory.

I highly suggest you just write a unique piece instead of trying spinners.

Unfortunatelly, I do not believe that this is a good idea on the long term and that you should at least do better rephrases or simply hire a content writer. Spinning always brings out poor results and not all synonyms have the same meaning.

The automatic Spinning software change the word only. It has no sense. So it may change the sentence meaning. So you must review the output. Most of the time you must edit the sentence to get the appropriate meaning. If you use the rewrite option by manually, it would better for you. Best of luck. Thanks.

I assume you have alot of content to rewrite (because maybe it's not your content?). Even in such a case, i would STILL write them all myself. For real. Nothing is better than the words from your mind and mouth. I primitive rewriter/spinner software isn't sufficient.

i'll say you must not focus only on the synonym criteria, instead you should start writing high quality articles, if you are doing this as a part of SEO.
For instance, you can have a look at ginger software synonym tool, it will help you in choosing good synonyms.

We all know that the software has no sense, so the Spinner can replace by the synonym only. In this case if you want to use the Spinner, you must review the content after generating by this Spinner. Or, you can hire a freelancer who can really solve this kind of issue. Thanks.
