ClickBank Health & Fitness Niche

Hello everyone

A few days ago i decided to give affiliate marketing with CB a try.
Creating a Squeeze Page, driving traffic to it, capturing e-mails with a free e-book etc.

However, i decided to give the Health & Fitness Niche a try since i do have some knowledge in it and i feel like i can write a short e-book to give away about it.

Now i am wondering about the competition. I am wondering if the Health and Fitness niche is too competitive to make a higher number of sales from it. I would really appreciate your opinion about it.
Thank you

    Hi Nick,

I think it depends on how you are driving traffic. If you are using PPC or PPV to drive traffic and you are creating a list, you can outbid your competitors.

I know it sounds like an easy concept but a lot of people are not capturing a list because it's harder then it looks. This extra step is enough to prevent it. Once you know your true profit per customer you can jack up your bids and crush the competition. Many times they will drop out after 3 days and you will be getting it for what they were.

If you are driving traffic via SEO/Authority site then it's a lot harder and a lot more competition. However, if you get really deep into a niche you can compete. Like a niche within a niche - some niches are like "Paleo diet dessert recipes", or "10 ways to increase your thigh gap". If you have a health site, you can rank for these long tail keywords and drive traffic. Once on your site you can promote your clickbank products.

Just some ideas - hope that helps.

    Good Luck

Thank you this was really helpful!

I am planing to drive traffic to the squeeze page with PPC to capture leads. I will not make a website or blog about it, just a e-mail list. Maybe i will build a niche website if my e-mail list will be big enough to drive traffic from it to the site.

      Thank you again!

Sure there is a lot of competition.

It actually does not matter much. You just have to come up with your own unique angle.

I’ve built businesses in over 20 different niches in the past 15 years.

I’ve been an affiliate since 1999.

To be completely honest, you have to make a mindset shift.

Rather than “wondering about competition” and about being in a niche too competitive…

You need to understand that where there IS competition there IS more money to be made.

If you’re in a small niche… you’re going to make small profits.

If you’re in a big niche… you’re going to make big profits.

    Bottom line.

Competition is a good thing, it means there is money to be made then people will be doing business in that niche. No competition usually means a niche is not profitable.

Health and fitness is a market. You have to find profitable niches in this market and solve specific health problems, or find fitness programs for a specific group of people.
