Which is better? Android or iOS Traffic?

A recent Studay showed that iOS attracted 65.26% of total UK mobile web traffic but Android still dominated the poll with 67 out of 101 countries.

Which traffic do you think has a better or higher conversion?

I would be really surprised if someone has the answer to that... Based on facts of course and not a thumb suck...

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I've recently read that Apple held an substantial lead over rival OS Android in mobile advertising marketshare in the 4th quarter of 2013.

More importantly the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch combined to net 55 percent of all ad revenue for the period.

However, with regards to which traffic converts the highest, the only person that would know the answer to that would be you. It all depends on your product, positioning, audience and ad copy. Personally, for me, looking at my stats, it varies substantially across multiple industries.

I'm personally a pro iOS person.. but that's just preference. As far as conversions go you have to go with what Chris said, it depends on your product, etc..

I really think as an Internet Marketer, you should both good at offering your product on both platform. Your website should be mobile friendly whatever browser they will use (Safari, Chrome, etc).

Conversion will follow if you allow your website to be user friendly on both OS. According to some research 50% of consumers use mobile phone or tablet in purchasing.

That's a big chunk of Online buyers. Since Mobile traffic is becoming more popular as a means of buying or shopping, you should always anticipate changes and always be ready to adapt. Be always on trend and do not let your site be left behind.

ISO is cool but need small amount of register fees per year. Need to review your app before publishing. Quality apps in itunes.

Google android is still cheaper than ISO. I have some experience in app publishing. But your app maybe banned if people complaint and copyright issue. But the traffic is still cool.

All point down to 1 single point. Quality app.
If you have quality apps, why dont you use 2 of the network? Double the money and traffic.

iOS is a priority in software development, and its users are more open to payments. If the software is initially free and presupposes gathering a user base and monetizing in another way (say, freemium), iOS still is the highly engaging winner. Despite the huge share of Android, iPhones are generally popular with more affluent users, who are ready to make various purchases with their smartphones.

I love Android. I think it is very intuitive and simple to use. I wouldn't buy a phone with another system.

It does not matter what os they use. The right message, to the right audience = sales.

Would a Apple user buy an exclusive software for Android or vice versa? No.
Will a 16 year old buy car insurance ... very remotely to no.
Will a single mom purchase insurance, most likely.
