Constant Contact only allows 5 autoresponders WTF??????

I just switched to constant contact from old old crappy list host called Topica. Well I got my entire list over to CC and come to find out that they limit you to only 5 autoresponder emails!!!

Does anyone know if there's any way to get around this?

This is unacceptable to any kind of serious marketing, how in the world can they keep getting customers with insane policies like this?

I would go to Aweber in a heartbeat, but that company would force me to make my subscribers opt in again.

Any suggestions???

Thanks. I researched a lot of companies but didn't think to look into crazy policies like limiting the number of autoresponders, didn't cross my mind.

Is any marketer here using Constant Contact? If so have you found a work-around for their autoresponder limit?

According to this pretty detailed blog post I found, Aweber will bend the rules on confirmation if you can prove that all your current subscribers are double-opt-in.

I can't post links yet, so just google "how to get aweber to bend the rules"...it's a post on wonderfulwebwomen.com.

    Might be worth a try...

      Hi kevkos,

No need to go a-Googling; this came up in a recent thread and I
posted a pretty detailed explanation of how we handle cases where
      you're migrating from another provider.

Have a read, and if you have any questions, anyone at AWeber
can help you - just get in touch.

        This is just great.

Another reason why I've chosen AWeber (and I've tried almost all of them save for GetResponse)

I prefer to buy script and install it to my web server.
It is one tome payment for life and we get their team support.
The one that I use was interspire email marketer and it was very user friendly.

Constant Contact have only just launched their autoresponder.

    Send them your thoughts.

Let them know they cannot compete with the others on 5 messages.

Ask them what were they thinking?????

Bite the bullet and go with Aweber... it's only $20 to start and for what they offer an insane value. Oh and unlimited autoresponders too.
