This is the kind of customer you want...

Today I had a customer that purchased just about anything he could from me!

I watched as he went through my system buying and buying and buying, and it shows just how important it is to set your sites up so that they produce you profit on the backend.

Here's what the customer did:

1. Purchased my $10 report through one of my affiliates. I pay 100% commission.

2. Purchased my $17 OTO - Insane Passive Income

3. Purchased a $197 DVD product that I recommended on the download page. I get 50% commission of this.

4. Paid $1 for a 14 day trial membership to a $97 membership site. On average 60% go on to pay the first $97 installment. ($48.50 per month commissions for me)

5. After joining the $1 trial membership he was offered a $97 OTO that he also purchased. A further $48.50 commission for me.

So from one low value entry product I have generated $165 from ONE customer - with the distinct probability that in 14 days I'll be getting another $48.50, and perhaps every single month after that.

So, lessons to be learned:

1. Be generous on your commissions for your front end products because the main money is in the backend.

2. Make your sales funnel DEEP. Once a customer is in a buying mood, they're more than happy to carry on.

3. TEST your sales funnel. Tiny little tweaks can make a HUGE difference.

I'm sure there are plenty more lessons to be learned. Feel free to post your own.

Thanks,
James

    Congratulations!

Having a deep sales funnel is very important, which we often miss. You've proved it.

Wow. That's certainly an impressive back-end sales path... I would have probably stopped at the first $197 DVD and counted myself lucky, now I know it can go a lot deeper than that It really does go on and on doesn't it!
