I've been building a new site over the weekend. I normaly concentrate on squeeze pages, but in this case I built the site out with about 20 pages of content (to keep google happy). I slapped my squeeze above the fold and above every article. Well, when I went and added my aweber form to the squeez portion, the phishing filter in IE was triggered ![]() The good news - I filled out the form that MS provides for them to review your site, and within a few hours my site was given the "OK" I was stressed, thinking it was going to take weeks/months to hear back from them..So if this happens to you, don't get stressed out like I was as it can get cleared up really quickly. I actually abandoned a site a year ago do to this! What an idiot ...

Interesting. I wonder how many of our sites, software and newsletters are on blacklists and we don't even know about it. Tyrus |

Hey Jason, It took me a few days to figure out what was going on with a couple of my sites a few months back. Some scripts will trigger the phishing filter. It will also happen when there isn't a privacy statement on the site, and when people surfing report a site just for shear spite. Like you mentioned, people can clear this up within 24 hrs most of the time if they take the time to fill out the online form that MS provides. |

in my case, I pasted the aweber code in, refreshed the page, and BAM! I just started building the site 2 days ago... I was highly stressed over it |

Were you using the Aweber Javascipt code? Or the HTML code? I know for a fact the Aweber JS code is blocked by Adblock in FF. Maybe IE jumped on a similar bandwagon? |

[QUOTE Like you mentioned, people can clear this up within 24 hrs most of the time if they take the time to fill out the online form that MS provides.[/QUOTE] Where do we find the online form to submit? I went to microsoft.com and did a search for "online phishing form" and got everything except the form! Thanks :-Don |

I went thru the link that came up that reported my site as a possible phishing site. If you are using IE, the browser window will turn redish or pink showing a phishing symbol in it too. Here is a good explaination that I found on a blog post. It has screenshots too: Phishing Protection - Internet Explorer 7 | ||
