Can I File a DMCA Takedown Notice?
So I have a niche site that's been doing very well. I'm ranking 1st for a number of keywords and have been making a solid income through Adsense. Until recently I haven't had any competition, but now there is another Niche site ranking for the same keywords. I'm not upset about that, it was only a matter of time before someone else found these keywords, but the site is an obvious ripoff of mine.
All of his articles are just poorly reworded versions of my articles. It's not copied word for word, but it's still frustrating because I did a lot of research to gather this information and even paid an expert in the field to review it and add addition info.
So, my question is, even though the site isn't an exact copy of mine can I file a DMCA takedown notice? Is it even worth doing this? Has anyone filed one of these before?
