How can I optimize images for a mobile device?

I recently created some logos for a client. After he received the images, he asked me to make them "less wide so it fits on a mobile device."

Anyway, this caught me off guard and I'm not quite sure what he's asking.

Any insights? I really don't want to have to redesign these logos!
Here they are: Logos1 - Imgur

Edit: Yes, anyone who does it for me will immediately become my hero!

The mobile displaying of images can be automatically optimised to suit the device being used. Read more: Image Optimization for Mobile and iPad Websites | Mobify

I website should optimize for mobiles, not the pictures. There are a lot of devices that come in a lot of sizes. You can`t get an image optimized for all those sizes.

Most likely he wants you to resize it because it isn't fitting into their design. While technically not your problem, I would go ahead and spend a few minutes doing it in the name of good customer service.

Ask him for the URL of whatever he's seeing and resize according to that.
