Self hosted affiliate program software?

I'm looking for a affiliate program solution (wordpress plugin or standalone script) so I can sign up other affiliates for my products. I like how Themeforest affiliate program works - you just append your refcode at the end of the link and it becomes affiliate. Please share the tools you're using, thanks!

    I would recommend against running an affiliate program. Unless you are a well known, trusted name with a really hot product, most people will not want to sign up. I'm aware of some marketers who lost affiliates by switching from trusted affiliate programs like Clickbank or PayDotCom to lesser known programs.

    I personally don't have the time to check my stats on another program, so I need to be really motivated to sign up at another place, and that's long before I get to "do I trust this program's tracking system?"

    I believe allows you to append affiliate code for WP sites.

      As Barb mentioned, save yourself the headache and just use JvZoo or Warrior +. Will be much easier to attract affiliates also and you don't have to worry about any of the payment logistics or tracking.

        I've tried JvZoo and it's not a positive experience. Multiple tiers of verification, every update requires manual approval. Then after my product was approved it suddenly became unavailable again due to unknown reason and I'm still waiting for the support to respond.
        P.S. The most ridiculous part - I can't respond to the support updates by email - I have to login every time to their system. Basic stuff, really.

        I can share my experience with WP Affiliate. It was great. It has features to track your affiliate hits, referrals, not all that stacked with options, but it did provide what I was looking for.
