Hey,

There seems to be a lot of people who think google are some unshiftable force. I think people are forgetting that anything can and will happen in business and it happens a lot faster these days.

Do I think bing will do as well as google? No.

Do I think a new search engine will take on google and steal some of their market share in the next five years? Almost certainly.

I really liked this commercial. Imagine watching this in a movie theater where there's a lot of base.

Up to now, I haven't even heard of Bing, though. I'll have to go to their website to see what they're all about.

I hope they paid the developers of that commercial no more than a couple of 100 bucks. It looked and felt cheap. IMHO.

I liked it better when it was called Kumo. Anyway, there has been talk of the next Google killer for years. I think it will be another few years before anyone catches up. I think we would all be shocked if we saw the size of Google's data centres.

I also think that Google has a incredibly loyal user base. And so it will take a while for any competitor to shift the market.
