Amazon associates application rejected

Hi everyone,

I made my first sales today on Amazon associates. However my application has now been instantly rejected for violating the operating agreement.

They have not given me a clear reason why. I have asked them but I would like to ask if anyone knows here too.

They said I was redirecting my URL to amazon which I am not. This is what is confusing me.

Please take a look here and tell me if you think anything is violating their policy

Is it the fact that my landing page has a link that goes straight to amazon which could be why they are using the word "redirect" even though that's not the right term?

I'd appreciate any insight into this.

P.S the website is still very much under construction and no actual content has been added yet. Nice to see I can get sales without it though

thanks

Seems like the problem is with your "click here" which is quite misleading for the visitors.

Your links go straight to Amazon, and there's no mention on your landing page (or on your "about" page) that you're an affiliate for Amazon.

And the fact that you reference Amazon Prime on your page - without any qualification - could lead visitors to believe your site was owned or operated by Amazon.

Both points violate the Amazon Associates operating agreement.

Thanks very much to both of you. I will remove the click here bit and focus on adding valuable content to the website. I will then add that I am an amazon affiliate on the about page.

Is there any way of keeping the amazon prime bit without violating the operating agreement? I get commission from signups so it would be useful to keep it

For starters you are required by Amazon to show an
    Amazon Affiliate Disclaimer;

The site is low quality and offers no value to your visitor. Yes add lot of informative content and then contact someone at Amazon and speak to them on the phone about getting your site reinstated.

It does seem like that disclaimer gets "left out" not infrequently though. Does it just take Amazon a while to find out?

I`m sorry to tell you but you`re just out of luck. I`ve had websites with and without the disclaimer, with or without great content. And I still have my amazon account active. It was just a matter of conversions.
