Fiverr banned me for NO reason & NO explanation.

and I'm not even a seller..

I'm just a regular fiverr user that buys gigs from time to time.

And today when I tried to log in to access my gig
which I ordered a few days ago for $25.

First my password was not working and I know my password.

I tried to reset it and log in with the new password when I get this:

"This account is no longer active"

just like that.. they didnt send me an email or anything
and I really don't see any reason for that..

I'm really pissed now because I need to access my gig now.
I paid $25 for it and cant even get it.

I submit a support ticket. Lets see how fast and if they'll respond and fix this.

Its ridiculous. Anyone had similar issues with fiverr?

I do understand your frustration, but I`m sure fiverr, being a big website, will take care of this and at least give you a clear answer to the support ticket. Some data bases do that from time to time and admins can check and reactivate your account.

Submit a credit card or Paypal chargeback. This will get your money back and penalize Fiverr anywhere from $15 to $30 on top of the refund.

    Sorry to hear that dude.

    I understand you're upset.

Contact them, and see what they say.

They're a massive company these days... So hopefully it was some error/glitch.

I heard they sometimes do this when you reveal personal information. Say you ordered a gig for some banner design saying "it needs to fit the colour scheme on my website [link to website]".

Don't know whether that's rumours or actually what happens at times, just thought I'd throw it in here.

And from sellers complaining about bad clients, I do know that you can have Fiverr refund you through filing a complaint with Paypal. Maybe worth looking into?

Fiverr bans account that tries to get around them and do business directly with the seller. So asking for the contact info or website of the seller may probably get your account banned.

If you don't do that, I'm sure they will take care of this for you.

Yeah, sure. Once I wanted to get a refund for a misrepresented gig on Fiverr as a buyer, it wasn't $5 but $25 - doesn't matter how many requests I opened on their support site I didn't get my refund. All I was told - "work with the buyer to resolve this". I was so pissed off that I found and send email to Fiverr CEO but of course got no response. The story ends with me filing a PayPal dispute, getting my money back via PayPal and disabling of my Fiverr account by Fiverr.

Ive, I'd thank them buddy Move up and onward to more prospering networks. Fiverr is OK , but to make a real living online you'll be charging $20, $50 or $100, or a bunch more for your services.

    Releasing precedes acquiring.

    Enjoy your day!

yes me as a seller also got very popular of Fiver with a good amount of jobs, they closed my account stating i was sending customer links to previous job links.

anyways Trust me Fiverr is not worth it, try building your own gig system, don't depend on fiverr.

abt ur mney dont worry, they have a period of 7 - 21 days after which they will put the money back into your account. just send them an email stating that you have aldready pending orders which is already paid.

the seller wont be abl eto get access to your account, so he will cancel the gig. don't worry you will get back your money.

Customers get banned for many reasons. For example, asking for refunds is a main one. Fiverr is now a major company. They are in business to make money. Sadly, most people do not understand what is going on. Fiverr cannot have serial refunders because they would not survive. Most of those creeps live on WSO section where they order report after report and then ask for their money. That tactic does not work on FIVERR any more - sorry.

After spending close to $1,000 and asking for one refund, you can hardly call me "serial refunded", can you? Yet my account was banned.

I'm having my own issues with fiverr(see the thread I started)so I can relate. They are bad. They don't take care of things and they make it next to impossible to get in touch with them. I did send them an email but they didn't get back to me. It is my opinion that they are unorganized, irresponsible and should be removed from the internet entirely. Yeah, I'm frustrated too obviously. Lol.

The thing is they make it so you can't contact them. That by itself is a red flag. Or if you can they won't get back to you. I only found out about the contact email through paypal but even so they didn't get back to me. They might at some point but I didn't wait around and should have to. I put a hold on my paypal payment and I suggest you do the same.

Totally matches my experience, well said. Even Steve Jobs personally sometimes replied to emails sent to him, Fiverr CEO too busy I guess - because nor him neither his assistant ever replied. And this is after publishing his email on Fiverr official blog with the remark "I'd love to hear about your experience"

Did you seriously expect them to?

You know what else they would get done if they replied personally to every one like you who bombard them with emails every day...nothing.

Believe it or not but 99% of CEOs I emailed actually replied, some via assistants. So being 1% doesn't make Fiverr look any good here.

Is there some reason you put this in a marketing forum?

Honestly so what? Fiverr is a private business they can choose not to do business with you same as you can choose not to do it with them. They dont have to give you an explanation.

Yes this also part of the marketing. SO u mean every private biz can just F&*K up people money and get scot free? This is not whether fiverr choose or not choose to do biz with OP, but just simple banned his account without prior notice, the fact that he is already a member there and also purchased orders before.
I am worry if buyers deal with you in this type of biz thinking...."They dont have to give you an explanation"
