Promoting Things You Want To Buy When You Got $ As Affiliate

Aren't these common trademarks of typical salesletters?
The very same ones that probably lured you, me and everyone else to buy internet marketing programs hoping that we can achieve those things like most gurus besides better lifestyle.
The only difference is while most people are still reading and probably signed up for that particular IM program, I opened up another tab and do Google research.
Not so much on that internet marketing or that guru who created the course whoever he or she might be.
But on the very same stuff and reasons that everyone probably gets lured into internet marketing in the first place.
I don't just do keyword research.
I look for affiliate programs related to those stuff.
You read that right.
Cars, mansions and vacations.
And probably women jewellery and clothing as well.
Or fine dining as well.
And the results in both searches and affiliate programs are pretty staggering.
Having said that, have you guys ever thought of promoting -
Things you want to buy or have badly when you got a lot of $?
As an affiliate?
Or even build an email list from there?
And the reason why I am saying this is because what you think could be what most people think out there.
Who says affiliate marketing has to be restricted to just dog training, internet marketing, health, or personal / self development?
Or even your passion which others may or may not like to spend $ on?
