I've built something. Now what?

Honestly, I feel like I need a mentor at this point of where I'm at and how far I've came.

Long story short:

- Had an idea/vision
- Really solidified it, got a sense of direction. Although niche-specific, I feel it is very unique compared to others
- Made a FB page, got fans
- Created a website that JUST went live 3-4 days ago (Moderator edit)
 - Have my own product/eBook that's in the works (need to make it look pretty and add to clickbank).

Now, with what I've got, what's the next step? I want to monetize the heck out of it. I'm also in this for the long haul, this is what I'm passionate about and my work ethic is banana sandwich. So taking action is no problem for me. I come here for guidance from experienced gurus who can save me time, and give me the right info to get there faster.

Do you see a lot of potential for this? If so, how?
Do you see this becoming a big authority site?
What are some next steps I should take?

    You need traffic to monetize. You need to market it. You are in the fitness niche so start sharing your page anywhere you can on social media, create some videos on youtube, etc.

    just looking at the first page, absolutely no wish to go further, there seems to a total loss of direction and focus, apart from membership of arnie's fanclub

      I have to agree with this one. I had a look around your site and it is good - If your 7k+ Facebook fans are targeted individuals, then that is a heck of a place to start marketing your site and gaining targeted traffic. However traffic and conversions should be your absolute main priority now, the content on your website is good and your posts are nicely constructed. I think people will enjoy reading them and this will prompt them to buy your services/join your mailing list. Drive as many people as you can to your site using social media. Monetize the heck out of it when you have a rolling train of traffic.

      I do have a big interest in this niche and an interest in fitness/body building. However, the initial landing page of your site reminds me of late night infomercials that I dread waking up to after falling to sleep. I personally would not kick the site straight off with "hey join my mailing list", I think it will drive people away.

      I also think that your sales page (Moderator Edit), isn't powerful enough, and the copy makes me feel suspicious - I don't know why.

      And what about the images you use in your website? I don't think u can just go and randomly pick any pics you want - use it as a part of your website (well correct me if i'm wrong with this thing). Cuz I had similar issues previously with my project, so just to warn you if you haven't bought the rights to use those pics - since if you get generate traffic and money, someone who owns the rights for the pics might find you and make u pay some decent money ...

    Nice job on the site - looks professional. I like that you make your email newsletter opt-in front and center.

    One piece of advice would be to make the reason to join the list more specific. "Inside Secrets of Building Muscle, Strength, and Living the High Life" is good, but I've found that being super specific with the reason to join increases the numbers significantly.

    So instead of "Inside Secrets..." perhaps something like:

    "Learn the ONE Thing I Do Every Day That Makes Muscle Growth Easier"

    (that's not perfect, but you get the idea).

    Narrow your opt-in motivator to ONE thing, create an email or blog post about it, and then link to that report or post in the "welcome" email that goes out immediately after they confirm their email.

    I think you'll find your opt-in numbers increasing a bit just from being more specific about what they are getting.

    And how you can do that quickly is to launch a PPC campaign. Be sure to study PPC and take advantage of all Google's advice they give on using analytics. It will reveal everything you need to know about your traffic source, what they are doing, etc.

    There really wasn't much details on what you're providing or the niche...

    But really, all business comes down to marketing and getting clients and customers...

    So... get good at marketing.

    You've got the fanpage... and you've got some fans.

    This kind of tells me that you've done some FB ads?

    If so, it's time to scale it out and take that traffic OFF of FB and onto your own asset, your website and your list.

    So take that traffic and build a list.

    Since you're already on FB, focus on that for now.

    There's plenty of traffic there for you, regardless of what niche you're in.

    Build your list, and email them.

    Those things will start to get the ball rolling for you.
