Does anyone know how to convert a quicktime (.mov) to a ppt file?

Is this even possible? I have a .mov of an original ppt presentation. Is there a way to convert the .mov to a powerpoint file so that I can access the original ppt format presentation? Let me know if I'm making sense. I'm trying to edit the presentation so that I can re-arrange the order of the slides. Thanks.

I have an idea but it may be painfully tedious if there are a lot of slides. If the powerpoint is short it may work. If you have a program like Snag it you can take a capture of each slide. A better option may be VLC media player which has a screen capture/ snapshot function. I believe it is a free program.

I would see about opening it in Windows Movie Maker and editing/capturing the slide info from there (ie, creating a new PPT if required from the final slides and then moving those around).

Movie Maker Forums is the main MovieMaker forum online, lots of helpful advice there.

You can convert your quicktime .mov file to a Microsoft .wmv format using AppGeeker or Handbrake, then insert it into PPT presentation.
