What's the best guarantee you've seen?

Lifelock has one of the most powerful and persuasive guarantees of all, with the $1 million dollar guarantee that says if your identity is hijacked while a Lifelock member, they will pay you $1 million dollars to resolve the issue.

What better way to convince someone that your service will work than to guarantee that if it fails they will be compensated. So far, this is one of the best guarantees that I have seen.

That guarantee doesn't state that they will pay you $1m, though they make it appear as such. They are actually guaranteeing that they will spend upto $1m in lawyers and other fees to get it sorted out which is (I am assuming) what you are paying for.

So in essence they are guaranteeing that they will do what you are paying them to do which is what any contract will do.

    That's not a guarantee, it's an advertisement.

in the summary of benefits you can see all the limitations.
ex:" Up to $10,000.00 for all fraudulent withdrawals resulting from a Stolen Identity Event."

Is not a guarantee in the same sense as "100% money back!"

    LOL Lifelock.

The CEO published his SIN as an advertising gimmick and had his identity stolen.

They also had to pay $12 million for fraud and promise to stop lying.

Hardly a "best guarantee" but I didn't see any affiliate links in your post so maybe you were fooled by the false guarantee like everyone else.

Also the guarantee is to spend "up to $1 Million to hire experts, lawyers, investigators and consultants...". It is not a guarantee like a refund or insurance paid to you for damages.

If they spend $1 Million and get no relief for you and no money back, they have still fulfilled that promise. Again, not the sign of a "best guarantee".
