Kindle / POD publishers - How Amazon manages POD / Kindle sales rank
Calling any Kindle / POD publishers....
When you list your book on Amazon often they are not tied together until you contact Amazon to do so. 2 listings I guess is a good way to attract extra eyeballs - But is it better to tie them together. Do you get a benefit from joint sales?
If you DO tie them together
What happens when you offer the Kindle book free - Does your paperback also rise up the rankings for your keywords
eg say you have a book on 'Buses' and by offering the Kindle version free you climb to the top 100 out of all the books. With the increase in downloads if someone searched 'Buses' in the book category - Do you think your book (paperback) would also be nearer the top given the popularity of your Kindle version?
I can't find the answer to this question anywhere
Thank you
Alan
