Don't know about deliverability rates but Mailchimp may not be your best option as they
    don't allow IM...

Some industries have higher-than-normal abuse complaints, which can in turn jeopardize the deliverability of our entire system. Nothing personal, but in order to maintain the highest delivery rates possible for all our customers, we can’t allow businesses that offer these types of services, products, or content:

    Escort and dating services
    Pharmaceutical products
Work from home, make money on online, and lead generation opportunities
Online trading, day trading tips, or stock market-related content
    Gambling services or products
    Multi-level marketing
    Affiliate marketing

Credit repair and get out of debt opportunities
    Mortgages and loans
    Nutritional, herbal, and vitamin supplements
    Adult novelty items or references
List brokers or list rental services
    Signature
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I can't comment on GetResponse but I have been using Mailchimp for about two years and in my experience their deliverability has been ok. I have been using it mostly for my own products. Though, I am in the process of moving to Aweber now because of the reason mentioned above.

We use GetResponce and it the best system, we have tried them all, Mailchimp, Aweber and others but GetResponce is our system of choice.

I don't believe its the cheapest, but works well

    • I have heard nightmares from people who used mailchimp, but I think they mostly don't like internet marketer who are using their system to send out spammy messages. However I do think that certain words that you use might lower down your deliverability no matter what SMTP or 3rd party service you use. It's mostly on the receiving end that causes most of the problems.

I use both Get Response and Mail Chimp and don't see any huge differences in deliver-ability... I use them for different niches but the bounce rate is more or less the same - 1-2%.

Getresponse all the way. The only thing good about Mailchimp is that they have a free option. Other than that have heard that they're a nightmare to deal with.
