ScreenCast Video Question ...

I'm creating some videos on how to install a particular software program on a person's hosting account and then the software company is going to put the videos on their site so the videos will probably be seen hundreds if not thousands of times.

I will be using a video editing software program to black-out personal information in the video so my question is if someone download one of the videos and has the same video editing software, could they go in and undo the black-out information? Yea I know, this is probably a idiotic question but I'm no expert in this area.

    No, the final video output will have the blacked out bits permanently. Unless you sent them raw original footage they will not be able to undo it.
