You could add a line in your footer along the lines of "Header image courtesy of xxx"

I am not really sure how to do that, do you know any websites that do this so i could see an example?

Just type it across the footer image in small text.

I have one more question, i know that pixabay has a lot pictures which are released into public domain under the CC0 license and i am wondering if i can use these pictures without attribution? I am a little concerned about using photos from pixabay because i have read some things about pixabay suing a lot of bloggers and website owners. :c

First off, why are you so worried about a simple attribution? It's no big deal. Unless the specific image owner says otherwise, it doesn't even have to be a live link.

      Same with the CC license.

Use the header image. Edit your footer with one line of plain text, as suggested by Katie above.

Or pony up the small fee to license an image without having to give attribution.

Back in my younger days, customized panel vans were a big fad. A lot of them had a little sticker - "Gas, grass or ass - No one rides for free"

Same philosophy applies to images on the net.
