PayPal down?

INTERNET MARKETING

I've been trying for almost 2 hours now (10:30 EST) to look over my PayPal Account Activity. I can log in, though it's extremely slow, but whatever options I try just hang up.

Eventually I get a "Cannot Load Page" error. Try again, same thing. Try again, same thing. Etc...

Anyone else having trouble with PayPal this morning?

Yes several warriors have experienced an issue today. It does appear to be paypals problem. So give it some time.

Yes it's all gone a bit awry today. Very slow then error messages. Been like it for a few hours but I'm sure Paypal are working on it.

You are kidding, right?

Isn't that kind of like leaving a waitress a 1 cent tip. It shows you purposely thought to give as little as possible.

I wasn't going to say anything, but that's as insulting as it is ridiculous. 10 cents? Really? Maybe if you spent less tome trying to come up with "sexy" non-sensical avatars, you'd have more than 10 cents to give.

  I haven't had any problems but it has been a touch slow overall.... that's in the last few days.
  
  I did notice a problem with the War Room IPN though... paid and no subscription... perhaps related to PayPal issues.

Hey TOPGUN08, that's the spirit. Just put yourself in their shoes and ask how you would honestly feel if someone sent a 10 cent PayPal donation. And then think about the fees they'd take out too. I don't even know if they will accept a donation that low.

It's not my plea for help, so I am not actually insulted, and I'm sure Josh appreciates every penny, but I'm glad you are considering upping your donation.

Okay, PayPal is really turning this day into one bloody nightmare.

Nobody is receiving their IPNs so all my sales are ending up with support
requests. This is going to turn into one nasty day if they don't get their
sh*t together soon.

Seriously bad timing, but people (WF people) seem to know what's going on and aren't blaming me so that's good. I'm just staying glued to the computer and manually sending them out as soon as I get the requests.

I can log okay - although slooowly - but when I try to click on "details" it won't do anything. Big Mike was helping me get a WSO ready and he paid twice to test his software, and I am trying to pay him back, and I can't because of $%@ paypal!!!

So I owe him $14. He mentioned his cousins Vinnie and Vito, and a pair of concrete overshoes. If I suddenly vanish from the WF, blame Big Mike, Vinnie and Vito...and most of all, Paypal.

Yep, I noticed last night they were doing maintenance... I also just realized my mass payment to another account is still just showing as processing....usually those go through immediately.

I found out from paypal what the problem is!

Its because you all have way too much
money in your accounts and its starting
to jam up the server.

So I have set-up a holding account for
anyone that is interested in speeding up
their paypal accounts.

I noticed this when I started this morning (UK). That was about 7 hours ago. I just tried again and I could log in but it was very slow.

It's also worth adding that I've had to manually process a couple of orders today to it looks like their 'click to return to merchant' system is also suffering these problems. For me, that's the worst kind of problem because the customer has paid but hasn't got their goods. Luckily I have a system in place to process those manually in jig time.
