Free Website Traffic?

Hi Everyone,

I am starting to build a new email list, and I don't have much of a budget, and I am looking for 'free' or low cost ways to send quality website traffic to my squeeze page, do they even exist? I know of a couple ways to get some low cost traffic, but I want to know more or better ways please.

Please let me know if you are using free or low cost ways to drive traffic to your squeeze pages, and what is working for you on a low to zero budget to build your list?

    A great way of getting traffic to your page is by making short screen recorded or webcam videos about the product or service your promoting and then upload them to YouTube with links back to your page.

      Yes thanks, I have been creating videos on Youtube using screen capture to help educate people, I provide free valuable information in lessons and I have my link to my squeeze page in the description.

      But I am having trouble getting views and and clicks, I signed up for Tube Toolbox, but it seems like it's not very effective because you can't make friends on Youtube anymore and people don't get notified of new messages and videos.

      So I have some good videos but now I need to get views, do you recommend any tools to help get Youtube views, anything better that TT, or do you know how to use it to get results?

        sorry for the late reply, I don't use any tools or anything really, to be honest my views took a while to start coming in, I think it takes YouTube a while to index your videos when it's a new or not very popular channel. Have you optimized your titles, descriptions, tags etc? This will help greatly, if you need any help, gimme a shout and I will tell you what I know!

      Use Google Blog Search - enter your most
      important keywords and be the first to comment on
      relevant posts.

      Use your full name in the name slot, and enter the
      url for your squeeze page in the website slot.

      If you make meaningful comments that add value,
      people will click on your name out of curiosity.
      Offer some free incentive to join your list.

      Guest blog posts. No cost!

      Make sure your guest posts are of high quality. It
      is better to have a link to your site in the bio area
      and then have your opt-in form as a slide-in.

      Twitter. No cost!

      Work every day to increase your Twitter followers.
      Follow influential people in your niche. Engage with
      them via re-tweets. Some will start to re-tweet your

    Free traffic ..

    Forum Marketing. Find forums in your market, put a "teaser" tagline for your email list. Now honestly and genuinely contribute to the forums DO NOT talk about your landing page, DO NOT suggest people should "check your signature." Simply find questions, research the answers, and provide your research. If you do a good job, people will look at your signature and sign up to your list.

    Guest Blogging. Create some really good content, like 5,000 word masterpieces that really give great information. You can use the research from answer the forum questions on this. Link to your landing page in a logical and natural position in the body of the article. If your article is really good you can get it placed on the highest traffic blogs in your market.

    Those are the two easiest ways.

    Whatever you do, do build that email list, try JV giveaways, buy Getsubscribers if you can use Solo Ads, Facebook, whatever. I tried Internet Marketing for years and ignored the whole list thing, then when I focused on that the conversions started happening and the money started to come in. Don't forget to subscribe to some newsletters yourself to see what others are doing too. Build your list--you won't regret it!

          For me the best free traffic has been from Organic Search & Social Networks.

          Every time I write a post I follow up with:
          • Tweet
          • Pin
          • Stumble
          • Facebook
          Also reditt can be huge for some niches. I had one post go semi-viral and get me 2000+ views in a day. (Unfortunately for me it was a hugpages post not a direct money site post)

          Its not long term traffic though, its "burst" traffic, you'll get a ton day 1 and its gone by day 3 (usually)

      Cool, I have heard of click banking, but I don't know what it is exactly, I have seen people asking for clicks for click banking, but I need to know more please.

    Forum posting is one of the best way to drive large amount of free and instant traffic to any website. Find and join the forums that regularly have related threads.

    Social media is another source for instant free traffic. It takes a while to build a large fan/audience base, so a better option is to join social sharing communities to reach more followers.

    Blog commenting will also generates massive traffic. Article submission, content syndication are other sources for instant free traffic.

    Tweeting (you can use an automated system like hootesuite to get regular content going out)
    Make sure you have a subscribers email list connected to you blog, then you can keep people in the loop.
    Link up to Facebook fan pages with links back to your blog.
    Commenting on other blogs is really effective- use a plugin like commentluv to help this process.

    FB- create a FB page describing your squeeze page. In your FB page, describe the product you are promoting and the URL address of your page. Find other pages in your niche and like their page. After you have done that, make comments in their news feed acting as your FB page. When they read your comments on hover over your FB page profile, they will find out more about you.

    You can use the same method on YT.

    FB and YT has the most number of comments/posts per day so they are a good channel for free traffic.

    Kyle, the best free traffic source is posting replies to forum posts like what I'm doing now. This will also get you the most targeted traffic to your new optin page.

    Search for the top forums in your niche. Make sure each forum has lots of activity and recent posts.

    Everyday, for the next 39-days, post helpful answers on these forums.

    Make sure you have a compelling signature file like mine below.

    Search engines love forum posts from active forums. You should start getting free Google traffic as well. Replying to posts also sharpens your skills and build your confidence for the subject matter.
