When and how to approach potential advertisers...

So I have been working on a hobby related site. The niche is specialize in is radio control vehicles, or r/c cars. Each month the site views has been increasing tremendously in both unique visitors and visitors. This month alone there is an average of 72 visits a day. Last month there was 1200 unique visitors and 2600 visitors total.

The question i want to ask is when is a reasonable time to approach potential advertisers? How do I go about doing this?

    I think there is no better time than the present. Maybe early in the process, see if you can actually talk to a few people on the phone so you can see what they are thinking. Take the time to learn what they want, and figure out how you can tailor your program to give them just that.

    I am certain that once you reach a steady number per day (somewhere between 500-1000 I believe) the Advertisers will find YOU! The key is to keep building that traffic so that you can reach that number.
