Virtual Assistant advice

No, I don't need a virtual assistant. I'm going to become one lol. Some of you may have read that I'm disabled from my previous job. PTSD and traumatic brain injury from severe MVA. My previous job was residential loan officer. I'm ok to work part time but cannot handle the stress of actual clients, etc.

So I contacted a colleague of mine and offered to be his assistant for any menial work he did not want to do. He's offered to allow me to organize all of his files prior to submission to an underwriter. I can easily do this because of my famiiliarity with the industry. And I might even be able to pick up more clients along the way.

My only concern is doing this remotely. He suggested that we find a file sharing google app so prevent us from having to email large attachments back and forth. So I found google drive. I think that should do the job ok.

And then to be paperless, I figured it would be best to use the same pdf software, cute pdf, that he uses. A bulk of the "job" would be organizing and reorganizing documents in the required order. Cute pdf would do the job, since that's what he already uses; however, it's not compatible. Damn me for buying a Mac! LOL. Any suggestions for a mac compatible pdf converter software that's compatible with Mac. And again, I don't need the pdf software to just convert. I need the ability to rotate, organize, etc., etc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
