Some tricks for Newbies

I just wanted to share some tricks and hope that some Newbies might benefit from these.
Am I a Newbie? I don't know, I have been bitten by the internet marketing bug since a lot of years, I have accomplished some sales, and have failed some too.
When I started with Internet Marketing, it was like a new world of information laid out for me...of course more than I could digest. Its so difficult to focus on actions when there is so much information all around! And I did get hit with information overload...maybe I still am.
I check the WSO sections everyday, I click on links in my emails. That does not mean I don't focus...after going through all the information overload...one day I decided that I need to stop and focus on one program, and I am doing that now. But checking WSOs has kind of become like a habit...which I am sure I will come out of, sooner or later. Ok focusing back on the tricks...I have a few..
1.You are a Newbie till you think you are. The moment you stop thinking that, you are no more a newbie. If you want to be taken seriously, stop thinking you are a Newbie.
2.When you go on forums or check your mails, allot a time for that. I tell myself that I will check the forums and mails for 20 minutes...and when those 20 minutes are over I exit the sites.
3.Information is everywhere, but how you use it is important, taking action is important, sticking to one program, one method till you consider yourself an expert is what is important.
4.If you feel you are not an expert yet, try talking to someone who doesn't know anything about internet marketing, tell him about SEO, or wordpress or any newly found knowledge that you may have. You will instantly feel you know a lot.
5.And lastly, whenever you are extremely tempted to buy that new shiny program promising you tons of money, go to goggle and type in "program name forums". So if the name of the shiny program is "make money now" type in make money now forums in Google.
What a person would normally do is type in make money now review or scam. What comes up after that is just affiliates promoting the products. So you will only see the good side, but if you want to see the good and the bad sides type in make money now forums and then real people's real experiences will come forward.
I can't tell you how much money I must have saved with this kind of search.Many times when I was hypnotized by the sales page, a search like that opened my eyes to the reality of the program.
Making money online is possible, but only when we think of it as a business and not a dream.
