Maybe consider removing the chat applet on the homepage and adding some content actually explaining what your website is about...

I went to your page and couldn't figure out what it was about...Maybe your prospects think the same thing

If your website does not have a clear objective, it will be difficult to effectively monetize it...

Take some time, evaluate what the site already has, and write a one paragraph mission statement for your site. Visit other sites in your niche and find out what their sites are lacking. Cater your site content towards these under served areas. Pick one or two things and focus on doing the best possible job on those...Then, once you have more traffic, take a profile of who your average visitor is and look for affiliate programs or other opportunities that they would be interested in.

It will be difficult for anyone who is not in your niche to determine this. Since it is your site, you should know more about this subject area than the general population here...

That's a nice heads up, Jim.

I have also visit your site, Owen. And it really looks raw. And Jim is right that it lacks info what your site is all about, main reason visitors skipped when they first visit it. Adding some content on your site gives them the feeling that they hit the right site.

I would add some clickbank or paydotcom products to the sidebar. Be sure you select products that are related to your site.
