Do you use Reprint articles from article directories?

If yes, from which article directories do you get the content for your websites?

Is it only from EA or do you use articles from other directories too? Which are the major ones?

Point me in the right direction on this please.

I know of a couple more that were used on recent phpLD mods, iSnare and Article Marketer.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Never tried it though but I think EZA has all the right quality articles that you can use on your site. Only problem is that you will have to compete with the same articles on other sites.

Ezine articles is the only one worth looking at, but you should avoid doing this. Google likes origimal content. Don't take the easy way out, write it yourself

No reason to avoid it at all - I've done it for years. It's "syndication" of articles and is a good way to add quick pages to your site to target more keywords.

I use articles from several directories, EZA, goarticles among others. Mixed with articles that are unique content for your site it's an easy way to get more content on your site. Always give proper credit to the author with a live link in their bio at the end of the article.

But which of the article directories are good, besides EZA? I was wondering which directories majority of the people take their articles from, if they do use reprint articles.

This line of thought came because I see many people submitting articles to 400 directories etc. and buy submitters that submit to lots of directories. In my view, it is useless to submit to lesser known directories, except if you want to increase backlink count. Even this approach to backlinks is like a scattergun approach, as most of these links may not be worthwhile enough to rank from relevancy point of view.

So what is the point of submitting to all kinds of directories that don't help?

Another angle most IMers miss is that if you know from which main directories people take articles from (to put on their websites), you can have your affiliate links seen on many websites. Of course some people will just remove your bio box or change the affiliate links to their own. Most guys who put up adsense sites don't bother to change or tinker with the bio cos their motive is to earn from adsense.

To my mind, if you don't determine the main purpose of your article marketing efforts, you will only see a small trickle of sales. Whereas if you try and target properly, the sales from articles could increase substantially.

    Hi,

I do it. One of my sites has been # 3 and 4 on Google from day one. I'm so surprised at this that I'm going to set up more like that one.

I started publishing EZ articles for another reason totally unrelated to SEO and found out quickly that it is a SE magnet.

As far as others, I googled "article directory" and found an unlimited supply. You can tell if the articles are good by reading them. You know what "looks good" when you read it.
