What is a good Paid Traffic Budget To Start Off With?

Hey Warrior's Whats up?

I am actually getting into paid traffic now. I ran 2 campaigns on adf.ly to start a list. Surprisingly with 8,000 Impressions I got 14 subscribers. Which I do realize is kinda crappy, but hey its a start. I wanted some advice on how much I should save up to start a paid traffic budget? What do you guys think or say on this matter?

    that's an excellent question

actually it depends on your budget itself but on average I would say :

200 - 500 bucks a month for paid traffic and you should nix it with some free traffic which will cost you your time as well until you make a monthly income to Re invest in paid traffic

    for example :
    Solo ads + forum marketing
solo ads + social media etc...

I would recommend getting $1000 together, and A/B testing different traffic sources with $500 each and see which on gets better results as a start.

If you're looking to make millions though, everything needs to be tested to the max, and you will need about $5000 to do that which is a big investment. Start slow and build up though and you will do well with list building and paid traffic.

Adf.ly is probably one of the worst traffic sources.

Not because all that traffic is particularly bad but because it is completely untargeted.

Your best bet would be a WSO (one that you give away free): put together a nice PDF and then pay $40 for the WSO listing and you should get between 50 and 100 subscribers.

That short PDF should be something that sets the stage for future promotions. So, let's say you want to promote an affiliate offer for SEO then your PDF should be a short report on SEO.

    RUN From ADFLY

Unless you are very good at converting it and have years of practice with ppc.

its very un-targeted and the subscribers you get for it do not buy and are pretty useless

good niches for adfly are the music niche, apps, and other things with quick download
