Is Artilce Marketing Just For Newbies?

I'm seeing alot more sales pages go from text to video by top internet marketers that I follow (like Frank Kern, JR and so on).

As much material as I've seen from them (videos and reports), I don't believe that I've EVER ran across an online article in ezineart or goarts that any of the most well known IMers have written.

SIDENOTE: I'm not saying they aren't out there, I'm Just saying out of all the material I've ran across I've never seen one online article

All of this got me to thinking....

Is article marketing just for newbies?

What do you think?

maybe they've moved on to another ways of marketing.:-) and maybe you could conclude that it is for newbies.:-)

Article and content marketing is still used by the savviest of marketers to drive targeted visitors to their offers.

It's one of the cheapest and most effective methods of traffic generation but since there are so many quality ways to drive traffic you'll just have to find out what's best for you.

Hi Dwayne,

I do agree with TL that you will have to find the traffic generation method that suits you the best.

You would like to check with yourself the amount of time or budget that you will be able to invest into your traffic generation campaign.

I think it will be better to be a master in one traffic generation method first. Once you have mastered that method then you will go on to the 2nd traffic generation method. Staying focus will ensure that there is better progress.

If you poke around the big article directories for Internet marketing topics, you'll stumble across articles from names that most of us would recognize. They don't announce to their lists that they do article marketing, they don't teach article marketing, they just stealthily drive large piles of traffic to their sites without telling us

Good points.

Article marketing works for me, so that is one reason I will stick with it. Once I start making more money I may move on to more immediate result methods like PPC, but article marketing will always be a part pf my core traffic generation strategy. It works.

Article marketing has worked for me and many other internet marketers for years. One thing that I like about it is that it always has some value. Many other tricks and trends fade out, but article marketing as always worked. Another good way to increase your efforts is by using services like uniquearticlewizard. It creates thousands of spun versions to be distributed to directories. Another thing that you can do to promote your articles is to find your rss feed on the directories... if they provide them... and build links to the feed as well. I have seen that work well on ezinearticles.

I don't feel it's strictly for newbies, but I do believe it's where everyone starts out because it's the method that is pushed the most in eBooks, etc when looking for advice on how to drive traffic.

Hello, I am new here, I have been doing this for about 5 months now and I get o lot of traffic from article marketing. I mostly use ezine. Most of my articles rank on the first page if now in the 1st spot on google. So yes, I am a newbie and I use article marketing as my primary source. When I master that I will try video marketing although that intimidates me right now.
