I know this sounds repetitious, but I promise it's not!

Okay, so a while back I had posted a thread asking where else BESIDES iWriter I could write. I don't like Odesk, and I can't stand the other one--can't think of what it is called right now--but it makes you do a CRAP load of stuff just to start looking for work, and you have to bid...simpler is better sometimes, ya know?!

Anyway, so my question is this:

There is this person on iWriter. When I first started, he would send me at least 30-50 special requests a day. Although I was scared to move up to Elite just because of his standard article approvals (and I didn't), I was afraid it would be a false lead where I wanted constructive criticism.

Anyway, that has nothing to do with anything. lol I suck today more than usual! UGH! Too much protein...

Anyway, so this requester, he sent me a million requests a day, and no matter what I wrote, he always accepted it.

I wasn't the only person he was sending these to, obviously!

My question is HOW and WHERE did he get all these leads?! How is it that this ONE person had so many articles which needed to be wrote? I don't get it! I hope this makes sense enough, I don't really understand it enough to elaborate much.

Well sometimes you bump on to people who are not really dependent on any particular source of lead generation, it's just that the in house needs are way too much to handle. For example at a point in time I was handling about 17 authority websites of my own and was getting about 30 articles written every single day of the month from a trusted team I had developed over the years. Thanks to Google Panda and Penguin by writer friends don't have to bear me any more

Thats my experience, you might have bumped on to somebody who might be creating a article directory or may be having a family of websites to cater to with fresh content every single day.

Well, he could just doing doing large niche sites - OR he could be re-selling them on the warrior forum or someplace else LOL

Are the articles all about the same topic, or different topics?

Sorry, hadn't been back on since Easter! Ummmm they are all different articles. He doesn't care WHAT I write, as long as it is on topic.

I mean, it's sad, but I am pretty sure I could add a sentence of whatever the hell I wanted in the middle, and he wouldn't even notice?

The only thing he gets mad about is if you don't write 100 words over what he has asked, and the pay is crap--but like I said, they are plentiful, and it keeps my stats up. Plus it takes about 5-10 per article so it's not bad!

I mean, it's nuts though! He sent 62 articles yesterday alone, where the HELL do I jump on that wagon? lol :p

So dude gets mad if he asks for 500 words but you DON'T give him 600? I sure at least hope he's tipping nicely!

Seriously though, I used you to write one article for me and i loved it. You should post a gig in the Warriors for Hire Section here selling your content. I don't know how much more you could charge than Elite on iWriter - but it might be another option for you

Thanks I had fun doing it! I got to be myself more than usual, and enjoyed it! But yeah, sucks right? He's an ass. I wrote 300 words one time instead of 4--he wrote me this long ass drug out...kind of "allegiance" thing...and asked if I still wanted to be apart of his team...

Swear to GOD if he didn't send me like 60 a day, I'd have been like pssshhh...lol

Tip? HA! $1.72 ONLY per 400 words, but I can just kind of ramble on and it gets accepted. I am not saying its bad quality--I just can't imagine what all he accepts--OR WORSE--who is USING this crap! lol

Maybe he's got a bunch of blogs for link pyramids and he's using your articles just as base for anchor text?

Whatever his purpose is, he's obviously making more money off your work than you are. You should change that and work for yourself

That's why I am here, to see if anyone knows what he is doing. If he can figure it out, I am sure we can too! lol

I know it sounds strange, but although he is making more, I still want to write TOO, just do this ALSO!

Well if he's an agent who sources articles for people, he can pickup gigs from various people. Then, he comes to you for the draft on any topics. Finally, he goes to a dedicated body or two to proof-read and edit the content. He's basically a rain maker in this case.

You can do the same. Just setup a site like iWriter and be the middleman. The issue with iWriter is that the writer is also the editor. When you hire them, you need to read, edit and approve the content. They rely on the buyer to rate and the write to determine if s/he is qualified to upgrade or not.

If they add to their workflow an editor, that will make the service much more attractive. The quality will most like be higher as well.

I think that is what I want to do, just not sure how to go about it. But yeah. I think that is more likely what is going on...

Gonna have to look into this...I get it, but I definitely DON'T get it! lol

Whatever he is doing, you could be doing, and possibly making more money at it! You should outright ask him. It can't hurt anything to just ask, right?

Idk. That's the problem. I think he might stop sending me requests, lol!

      It's a weird understanding...

But, I suppose if I really want to know how to get where he is that is the best way!
