Why WSO Moderation should be More Strict Now

So I've seen that WSO listing now costs $20 so I think the tendency would be that such section will be flooded by so many products/offers than ever before. I have not posted in the main WSO section specifically BUT I have been purchasing some offers since I've joined in WF and I can say that only a few products are golden ones to be honest - some are just common and the info can be seen & researched anywhere in the net for free. This is my take so I hope this would not cause any rants.

Whilst the price decrease is a good news in a way, it is also a bad news in a way. Bad news since it will trigger a lot crappy offers to be listed and bumped.

I do not know how the Admin/Moderators would handle this but I really wish they'd be more strict on what should be approved so to keep the WSO section as golden as it should be. Though the Freelancer team I think has an amazing team of support (I've used freelancer.com and I should say they're support is really fast, within minutes) so I hope they'd be implementing something awesome about moderation. In [other forum's] link building marketplace for instance, I like how services are moderated since mods will really ask providers to deliver sample work for them so mods can approve the service alongside commenting the quality of the offer (that's what I can see:confused.

Anyway, still looking forward for great additions now that WF is part of Freelancer.com family

Good Day!

I say let the results speak for themselves.

We can speculate all day about how the fee decease, change or whatever will affect things long term.

Let's say that WSO's do become lower quality. That should mean that people will recognize that and buy less over time. More sellers will be recognized for their quality/lack of quality and everything stabilizes as it should because buyers, assuming a relatively reflective and intelligent group, will separate the good from the bad naturally.

If that's the case then fewer people will produce WSO's, because it would be less lucrative to do so overall, and the fee will be re-evaulated to assess it's effectiveness in attracting the right sellers.

But as i said starting out, let's allow the results to speak for themselves here. There are too many factors and too much speculation to give a solid answer right now.
