So when I was first getting started a few weeks ago, I was laying out a temporary site just to get a feel for what I might want to do. It had a few articles, a couple affiliate links and a sign-up form. I applied for an AdSense account assuming I'd get PSAs like Google used to do, so I could place the ad box on my site as part of the design. I can only guess that Google didn't like my site when they saw it. A few days in, I decided to start over with the site. I am building an "info only" site hoping only to build a list. There is nothing for sale on the site currently, and zero affiliate linkage. Google just crawled the new homepage 2 days ago. My concern is that I still haven't heard a PEEP from the AdSense folks and it's been 3 weeks. I have no account number, so can't contact Google about it. My assumption is that I was denied based on my old site, but never received an email. The question is: Can I EVER be approved for AdSense now? Or Am I Dead in the Water? If I'm dead in the water, what are my options? Thanks a TON! Alan |

Forgot to mention that part... I've tried re-applying... It says I can't apply because I already have an application being considered... So I can't contact Google AT ALL!! |

Well, then you only can wait and work on your content, SEO, links and so much more to do...

I'm completely annoyed by Google and eBay... ![]() They're like the freakin Wizard of Oz... just hiding in their emerald city casting judgment upon the world... You never even know what you did wrong... just that you are being punished... Have they just decided that I'm not allowed to play? |

people might have applied when you did... I'm sure they'll get to you as soon as they can. Tsnyder | |
| There is still nothing for sale here but a person with some imagination and a sense of humor might have a bit of fun at http://www.facebook.com/pages/DucTales/195406083832415 | ||

I understand your frustration. These days it sometime seems as if the Golden Rule has become, "Those that have the gold rule." Google probably is the biggest game in town, but they are not the only game. While you are waiting to be approved for Adsense, why not try something that is easier and faster to qualify for such as text ads for ClickBank affiliate links. If you are using WordPress to run your site, there is a plug-in that generates content related ClickBank text ads to your blog. It’s called "Hopad Wordpress Plugin." (Just Google it, and it comes right up. It doesn't cost anything but the opt-in.) If you are not using WordPress, you can still generate the Hopads manually in your ClickBank account. Best Wishes, Mike |
