    All you need to do is add the plugin to your site from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-live-chat-support/ and activate and once you log into their system you will be visible online. There are many others you can use out there.

    How you can convert prospects you chat with depends on your professionalism and interactions with them. Make them understand you are the man, you know the job and you are not after their money.

    As a matter of fact, if you make the ambition of taking their money secondary then your quest to help them primary you will win most of the times.

      Live chat can be easily added to just about any site - just insert the code they give you.

      It gives customers another way to contact you and I find customers love it. They sometimes chat with me just to make sure there is a live person at the other end of the store (some call me for the same reason). So many online stores are "unmanned" or have no or sparse contact info, having it and live chat gives customers an extra sense of security when ordering from your site versus the competition.

    Depends on your scripts functionality. Triggers and conditional engagement queues work well and are typically standard with many livechat plugins. End of the day nothing bets good old 1-on-1 client support though =)

    You might have it set so that your live chat option pops up after a minute of your visitor being on the site. This would give the person a chance to browse before you talk to them. If someone automatically requests assistance or asks a question about your site or product, then you could easily answer the question. Another thing you can do with live chat is suggest related options, things that are similar to what they are already looking for. All this will depend on what type of site you are currently running though as to how effect live chat option can be.
