When Is a Newbie No Longer a Newbie?

I just want everyone's opinion on this! Is it when you start making money? Is it when you start making X amount of money? Is it when you understand what a WSO is? I still consider myself a newbie even though I joined the forum last fall.

Good question There is so much to learn in internet marketing, but I guess you are not a newbie when you realize how much work is involved in making money online.

It's not just about making the first sale, it's making
    consistent sales in the long-run.

So I'd say you're no longer a newbie when
the money you make online can sustain your lifestyle.

In my opinion, you're no longer a newbie when you find something that works for you, and you are able to earn a consistent amount of income. I'm not saying you have to be doing this full time, just that you are able to repeat you results regularly.

Exactly, anybody who says they've mastered anything simply has no clue. There is always room for innovation and improvement.

It's a confidence issue. None of us know everything, but when you boldly start DOING something that you're prepared your mind for... you're leaving the realm of the newbie.

In my opinion, anybody who stops reading and starts taking action is well on their way out of Newbietown...

You are no longer a newbie when you come to a forum like this, and you don't have any questions.

Does anyone fit that category? Anyone? I'm sure even guys like Frank Kern and Mike Filsaime couldn't say that (well...if they didn't have their staff and each other to turn to in guru-land!)LOL

I mean REALLY - does anyone stop learning? I think if they do then they have given up or settled.

You're probably always a newbie to someone. Who cares really?

A newbie stops being a newbie when they make the decision not to be one anymore.

It's not about your level of knowledge or experience. You could be here for 10 years and still be a newbie or you could make six figures within your first year. It all depends on your mindset.

Personally i don't care about the 'status' newbie or experienced or what else. The most important thing for me is i can make money and make a living from it and keep learning..

If you can consistently make a comfortable living online (whatever dollar amount that is to you) for an extended amount of time, you are no longer a newbie.

That's the great thing about Internet Marketing; you never stop learning.

There's always a new method or technique you can impliment, there's always room to improve on existing ones.

After 12 years I'm still learning new things every day, and that's what I love about it. If I ever stopped considering myself as a 'newbie', who knows, I might actually stop learning. And that's the last thing I want to do when it comes to business.
