Want to create a product... I need simple advice! Thx!

There are currently 741 depression related products listed on Clickbank,
and 625 anxiety related products on Clickbank listed the market place.
Searching "overcome depression" brings up about 255.
Unless I just ran that search incorrectly, then someone can correct me.

What format are you going to produce it in? Ebook, Audio, Video? Sounds like something that would be a great ebook backed up with a paid access support group forum!

no offense intended but I would start thinking less about what you "want" to do and start doing research on what you actually "can" do.

1 out of about 10,000 people can just throw their product on CB and be successful. You need past sales and a good launch strategy with numerous affiliates interested before the product even goes live.

I mean you can throw it up there (I wouldnt, you're competing with hundreds of people on the exact same product) but without a plan, and some decent sales numbers before it goes on CB its just going to sit there.

I would do some research on other topics you're able to create content for, get in touch with some people that assist with JV launches and see if your product even has a shot.

Not trying to dissuade you at all... but there's a ton of great content that just doesnt sell because the seller doesnt know how to play the CB game the right way. Unfortunately there's a TON of utter crap on there that does sell just because the creator knows what they're doing.

Good first steps, and yes this niche is a good one, the fact that you have personal experience is a huge bonus as well.

What you want to do is spend some time going through the various products (Gravity is not a great measure of what is selling by the way...you can have someone making a killing selling directly from their site from their own traffic (paid or otherwise) and gravity won't move even though they are raking in the sales) Focus instead on popularity as well as looking at Amazon for those products that have a solid sales rank to get a feel for the different angles. From that you can come up with your own.

For example I see at least the following:

- Products in the "instant cure in X steps" angle directed at the person with depression
- Products aimed at those who live with or know depressed people on how to help them as a friend or relative
- Products aimed at managing depression "without medication" - another big concern (medical side effects) that people dealing with depression have
- Products aimed at specific target groups (Ex Teens, Women...) - this is another way to go and each have products that are ranked very well

You can take your cue from angles that you find selling well, either looking to improve on an already proven angle (like the ones above) or extending them by slightly changing them up

Another thing, there's no question that depression is a HUGE MARKET, because millions of Americans are depressed.

If it's something you're passionate on, I say give it a go...

Also, you might want to consider launching Kindle books - because according to my research there's a boatload of depression products being sold on Amazon...

(Search Amazon Kindle "Depression" then sort by popularity/rating)...

Right. I don't put much stock in CB "numbers" except historical average sale amount.

A lot of people in north America have this problem. However, just a handful out of the millions are willing to bring out their credit card and purchase a product related to this very topic. They will rather Google it and read up some blogs....

However, when it comes to making money online, in fact, the lack of money is the #1 reason for these folks' depression and so, everyone of them is so willing to invest in the next make money online product; report, vid, coaching, etc.

I'm not trying to discourage you form pursuing your passion. You gotta strive to be an authority in that niche before you can see big results... unlike most niches...

If your doing a Video Course I'd definitely spin it as a 12 step (or however many step long) Overcoming Depression Video Series (One Time Fee) with an ongoing Support Community (Monthly Membership)... this way you'll make upfront $$$ from the Videos and then can sell forum subscriptions for reoccurring passive income!
