I have an Idea, but I don't know how to get it done, PLEASE HELP!

Hello, Warrior Forum, am new here (found the site through google).

I am starting a clothing website and I have an idea but don't exactly know how to execute it.

I want to give designers of my choice commision for the shirts that they sell from my website. I would like the linkage and payment to be from my website and no referal programs or linking to another site procedures. So when a customer buys a shirt, I want the given % to be taken out and given to the designer, is there a possible way I can get this done? Or any alternative ways?

I would take any advice or criticisms.

    First of all, congrats on finding the forum! and hopefully you use it to its full potential.

    Second, That is a massive dream you have there - building a clothing company is a lot of work which im sure you already know.

    Third, absolutely that can be done! I work in web design and there are multiple ways for designers to be paid a set % commision on each sale of a product directly from your website. Depending on your needs we could set it up so that designers create vendor accounts on your website and can list there own products and view their sales dashboard etc. So many possibilities! It just depends what you need.

      welcome and good luck with your clothing business. I'm sure you will find a lot of answers here or on youtube. I find great info there on pretty much "how to".....do anything.

    This can easily be done with Woocommerce and the extension called Product Vendor, that creates an Etsy-like site where multiple vendors can submit their products and you can set a commission for each sale that goes through the site.

    You have a huge initiative. The good news is that your dilemma can be solved either using customized solution or pre-made themes for WordPress. Good luck!

    Welcome from another forum newbie (honestly, I lurked for a long time)! There are lots of options to do commission schemes, as the others mentioned. I would say focus on the strategy for now and trust that the technical mechanics/tactics are available. Best of luck!
