Deleting Posts from 1 Blog and Post to another?

Hi all,

So basically I want to delete some posts from one of my older blogs, and post it on another of my blogs.

Will this cause any issues?

E.g. Will it be classed as duplicate content?

Or is it just as simple as copy -> delete post) -> paste (new blog) -> publish?

    There is no problem doing it! When you post to your new blog it will be considered a new post.

    But you should want to keep the link juices you have on your old post, so you should set some 301 redirects from old URL to new ones, that will keep the rankings/links intact.

    In WordPress there are couple of handy 301 redirect plugins that can help with it.

      Thanks a bunch for your reply.
      Re-directing isn't even worth it, the site they're currently on is getting < 5 views a day haha !

      I want to tie up some loose ends (get rid of some sites) to make my portfolio smaller. By merging some of the sites I'm hoping that I can improve on Rankings and traffic over all, whilst developing more of an authority.

      Hence why a delete is fine for me.

      I will get to it then, once again thankyou.
