shopify domain authority reduced in personal domains?
Hi warriors. I'm new to actually participating in this forum, but I've been stalking you guys for ages. Are there any shopify experts out there who can help me? I've asked the in-house guy, but he's not giving me the answers I need. Perhaps I'm not explaining myself very well.
My client has the standard myshopify domain he got when he joined up. He also registered a personal domain with an outside company, which he then added to shopify. Shopify looks happy with it. The personal domain is registered as the primary one. The myshopify URL redirects to the personal one.
When I look at the two URLs in opensiteeplorer, the myshopify domain as a DA of 60 (and a PA of 1), while the personal URL has a DA of 17 and a PA of 29. Obviously I want my client to have the best of both worlds. Does he already have it? Or does he need to do something the get the good DA and PA together under one URL? Please help
