What Was Your Ahhhh ahhh Moment

Just curious to know everyone's ahh ahh moment, when you finally realized why you weren't achieving their goals or making money.

I'll start, I started making money once I stopped focusing on making money and focused on creating the best quality content.

Your turn

Early this morning before getting out of bed?

My "ahhhhh haaaa" moment was when I realized that no matter what all the "Guru's" said about making money, there was one thing that was a common factor...

    List Building!

All the "Guru's" had email lists that they used to market products to me. No matter what "technique" they were peddling they all sold them to me in the same way... via email!

So that day I realized that if I had a big enough list I could send enough traffic to just about any related offer and expect to make money in one way or another...

Even though I wasn't 100% sure how I was going to make money by building a list I knew that there were many options and that if I had a "source of traffic" (my email list) that I would be able to make money...

So I made a commitment that day to stick to list building and only list building for at least 6 months. So I cut out all the crap and focused on one business model, which was list building...

At the end of that 6 months I went full time as an internet marketer and I haven't looked back since! That was in 2010!

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Coby

I had my ahh haa moment when I started building my funnel the
right way and testing different traffic sources to see what's effective.

After I saw what "worked" I then optimized my method to give my
subscribers more value and getting me more earnings.

I think that IM is not easy as it looks...

      Understanding value.

Many years ago now, a friend and I set up a little membership website. We sold information that our target audience was desperate for (kinda like racing punters wanting hot horse tips).

It was built on XSitePro, had a brief sales page, and a Paypal button for a free trial and recurring payments. It looked pretty nasty and didn't take more than a day to set up, but it started making sales immediately. As soon as the desired audience saw the brief sales page and understood what they'd be getting, boom, they hit that Paypal button.

Offer something of genuine value and you'll always do okay. It's worth spending extra time thinking of something that people will really want. The weaker the offer, the crazier you will have to go with copywriting, design, SEO, etc to make the sale.

My one "ah ha" moment was when I saw my first Amazon affiliate commission. After that, it was game on!
