I cannot understand why people waste their hard earned money. Let me share with you guys and gals the 3 reasons why people buy network marketing leads. 1) They are desperate. Right now, the economy is really bad, people lost their jobs, getting retrenched, no money to support the family and therefore join a network marketing company. It is sad to find out that some believe the fastest way to build a business is to buy leads. 2) They have a "get rich quick" mindset. You cannot have a "get rich quick mindset" to build a team in network marketing. Once you adopt this mindset, you are doom to failure. The best investment you can get is to invest in yourself. 3) They want to save time looking for targeted leads. Usually, these types of people have a full time job and live an average lifestyle. If you fall into this category, my advice to you is quit now; you are just wasting money and time. Feel free to add or comment so everyone can learn about avoiding some of the expensive pitfalls on the web with regard to this topic. Also, post some marketing strategies to combat the above ailments if you like! (Spider Web system anyone?) |

How, then, do you account for all the well-known very successful network marketers (such as Todd Falcone) who have built their entire businesses calling purchased leads?! ![]() What matters, if you're building a network marketing business, is to spend your time talking to people who are already looking for a home-based business opportunity. It doesn't matter whether you generate the lead yourself or buy it from an outsourced expert whose job is generating them. What matters is that they're not just people who responded to something completely different so that you have to "convert" them into being interested in joining a network marketing company. That's a complete waste of time. There's a very interesting article by an industry expert here, written only a few months ago (no promotion/advertising/opt-in there, just good information!). "Bait and switch" marketing, offering some freebie to get someone's email address so that you can form a relationship with them and they'll come to buy from you because you establish credibility, is a brilliant way of selling ebooks, highly successful for internet marketing (of course), but compared with other methods it's a complete waste of time for building a network marketing business. Sure, some of those people will sign up, and later drop out, and you'll have wasted your time. It takes some people a while to learn this. And unfortunately, while they're learning it, they teach it to others who teach it to others who teach it to others. That's why the failure-rate in network marketing is so high. "The blind are leading the blind." |

I have a love-hate relationship with network marketing purchasing leads, never be as effective as creating your own leads face-to-face with somebody. but it is true, there's only so far that you can go with face-to-face interactions. There's only so many people, you can meet in the day. This is just my opinion clint |
