Welcome to the forum.
You have come to the right place to learn to market on the net, just keep reading every post that comes up and you will quickly formulate idea's. As for learning to play the guitar, why not advertise ofline in the music magazines and drive the traffic to your website? Just one idea, I am sure other Warriors will come up with more. Be successful. Tony |

I would add in an optin autoresponder with lets just say seven free lessons. The first part of the series could be proper method to holding the guitar. This is a typical splash page with very little content not exactly a website. I also see that the one is a click bank product. What you should do I do not know what type of host you are using or how your root directoy is set up. Do this instead of showing that it is a click bank product before they even click on the not sure what size that banner is. I would say 250x250 atleast I know I am close.
Create a file on either your root directory or in its own fold. If you use the folder option. Call the folder like product or what ever. Then I would use the name of either the product or the name of the url. Then add this code below to redirect to the page you will get better results this way. <?php $afflink = 'http://93d825pdu25rarmk6jgigcfufz.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=LOOP'; //do not edit below here header ('HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently'); header('Location: '.$afflink); exit; ?> Notice I have my click bank product in there replace that with yours. You now redirect to their sales page and the link is disquised. Oh and make sure you name the file as a .php |

I just went to your article page. Why not try using that flaming guitar as a tiled background image would be more atractive then that straight black bg. I would also try to eliminate that gap between the header and your content. Or you can add a header bar directly below your header so that it touches both the header and the content. There is either a <p></p> or a <div> in there that does not need to be there. Just my suggestion personally that is what I would do myself.

hello...you come to the right place to get the answer.
i think your website need some improvement... Maybe you can put your autoresponder item to get your traffic opt-in. you also can give free sample, free ebook, free audio, free video about how to play guitar. FREE give can attrack more traffic to visit your website. This is one of my opinion. i hope other members can give more info to you. Good Luck and have a nice journey for your succes. |

My recomendation is that you start by spending lots of time on this forum learning both what to do and what not to do. Do this before you start spending a lot of money for nothing.

Hey Molan,
My recommendation is that you write a plan of what you want to do: how many hours do you want to work? what is it that you are most interested in doing? what are you willing to do in order to reach the success you want? Its important to plan all this stuff out, because if you don't know what you are willing to do, then you will get to the stage where you will give up because you are doing too much, or you havent done enough, or you arent seeing the success you want. Write out a plan of the goal you want this month, then next month, then the next. Be realistic. and when you reach each goal, be sure to celebrate it and then get on with reaching the next one. all the best of luck! Susan |

My number one tip I can give you is pick your niche and just dominate it until you're number one. Some niches will be harder than others to dominate. My sites get ranked higher than the offer I'm promoting sometimes for keywords related to the products name! I do this buy building content centered around that subject and nothing else. Think of it as a metal ball. Do you want a brittle metal ball or a solid metal ball. Make your pages DENSE with the keywords you want to rank for.
If I were you, I'd try to rank for "learn how to play the guitar". Throw that keyword around everywhere in blogs, squidoo pages, your website, everywhere and divert it back to your offer. |

Hi Moran!
You're actually in a very good niche. Here are some suggestions that will hopefully get you moving the right direction: 1) First of all, there are many "long tail" keyword phrases in this niche that you can develop information about learning how to play the guitar. Normally, I would say to start article marketing to get traffic to your site....But in this case there's an even better method..... For this niche, I would try and drive traffic using video. Playing the guitar is a visual medium and creating good teaser/promotional videos would interest your potential customer base....Think about creating some videos that you can place on YouTube and other major video sites. I would create 3-4 short videos and for each one I would use a different long tail keyword phrase in your video's title. In this case, your videos are going to be your major traffic driver. Think about how you can drive traffic to your videos and then let your videos direct them to your main page. Squidoo, which is very search engine friendly, will let you embed video into your information so I would look into Squidoo lenses as well. Check out this great blog post on how optimize your videos for the search engines below: 8 Ways To Optimize Videos For Search Engine Visibility Remember, you want all your videos to move traffic to your.... 2) Squeeze page....Looking at your main page, I would change the layout from being a sales page to a focused squeeze page where you offering a course or informative reports through an autorsesponder (such as Aweber). Set up a teaser video toward the top of your page that will encourage your customers to opt in to get your information. Once they opt-in, start sending them some valuable content. Again, use video to your advantage. I would include video links in your autoresponder messages. You want to really wow them and win them over as lifelong customers and video in this case will give you the opportunity to do so! Plus, your autoresponder will give you the opportunity to sell your multiple guitar products to the same customer. Good Luck! |

Just like others have mentioned, the first thing you shoul do is alot of research on the niche you want to target. Check out your competition to see what you're up against and make sure not to go overboard with buying text links. Trust me, buying links can acutally mess up your website if you buy too many at one time. Also, spemd alot of time in this forum and any other seo forum you like because knowledge is the key to success.

Hi Moran,
Welcome to the internet business. One of the biggest reasons why newbies get off to a slow start is distraction. There is heaps of information out there. I recommend choosing following just a handful of people's ecourses; books, blogs etc and leave the rest until later (if at all). In your case, if affiliate marketing is your approach, then choose people who specialise in that area. I it sounds a tad "text book" but making a daily/weekly plan with a step by step guide would help. Cheers |

I found a 30 day course and have been following it. I do the activity suggested each day and budget my time accordingly. The course tells you to take the weekend off but I find myself catching up as some days time runs out. Hummm note to self, make an e-book!
