There has already been a topic created about this, but I wanted to remind everyone because the opportunity begins tonight.

Starting tonight at midnight (12 AM EDT) you will be able to claim your username on Facebook.

For example if you choose your name, a user will be able to visit your profile page directly:

http://facebook.com/yourusername

So be sure to be on to claim your name or whatever else you want! I'm sure it will pay off in the long run.

Remember it is a URL so you can capitalize it and it will still work!

Looks like the admin here at WF will need to adjust their facebook settings. I changed my facebook settings here and it still uses

www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=norman.woo

which does not work. It just brings you to facebook's homepage. Now I don't remember my old facebook numeric ID.

WOW...I can't frickin believe it! My full name was actually available. My name is so common too. I noticed everyone is capitalizing their names so I did that too. Tim, sorry to hear you missed that one. The good news is we can still find you!

I snagged Mike Filsaime name...no just kidding..too bad you can't snag any niche names (keywords), unless you had boat load of face book accounts you could switch over, it seems that you had to have a face book account prior to June 9 of this month to able to add a user name, I'm glad I got mine..

insurance, and you can't claim someone else's trademark.

In fact, if you have a registered trademark, I suggest you go to
