Have YouTube, PayPal or eBay ever banned you?

Hi
Forums Members,
I was just wondering have anyone every got their account closed, shutdown or banned for no reason at all. There have been people I have talked to who have had problems like this, which is very sad. These are people who have ran their businesses online, weather it was an eBay store ect..
I will love to know weather anyone here, has been missed used by these services in this way or another?
If so! I will love to hear your story.

Yes, had eBay shut down my powerseller account a few years back when another seller reported that I was selling his copyrighted ebook. Ironically, it was NOT his, and had been written by partner.

This was back in the days of 2 "strikes" and you were out. We had previously listed an item in a wrong category and received 1 strike already, so this new claim of copyright infringement was our second strike.

Seems this other seller didnt like the competition we were giving him within the same niche, so made the false claim. We sent him a copy of our book, and he replied back admitting his mistake. However, he refused to contact eBay and let them know. eBay refused to reply to our repeated calls and emails about re-instating our account. We even forwarded copies of our correspondance with the seller - all to no avail...

Needless to say, I don't miss that place at all now.. Good riddence

Had exactly the same problem with Ebay in the past. I just hate the whole EBay idea - too time consuming for too little a return

Paypal had"freeze" my account before for a drop ship item that was sold on Ebay. Paypal informed that the listing need to highlight about the drop ship, if not it fail to meet Paypal TOS. However, Ebay replied that not necessary to include the word drop ship in our listing. I had forward Ebay feedback to Paypal and lucky for me, Paypal activated back my account.

There are so many rules and one really need to be carefull when list with Ebay and Paypal. There are many competitor who like to make false claim on one's listing in order to reduce competitor. If we had our listing that obey their TOS, we should be safe at least.....

I was banned from paypal once I had an ebook on how to have better sex that had like three's pictures of copulation in it so they banned me , I was able to fight it however and get my account back , someone had complained I was selling Porn though the ebook was nothing remotely like porn. That was maybe 4 years back IIRC.

Interesting stories here. I haven't got any problem with those services.yet.

Now, I could watch out for it and prevent it from happening to me.

Pay pay have banned me in the past due to 2 much money coming through my account at the 1 time, this was after I had contacted them to say I was launching a new product and to expect to see a increase in sales but they still went ahead and shut down my account for 10 days, not good

Good thing I have not experienced it yet... I hope not. We now know what to do to avoid getting banned. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

    The Trifecta!

All 3 have banned me, and they have all 3 reinstated me after speaking on the phone and some simple verification. If you deal with these services for any length of time, at least one of them will shut you down!

The important thing is not to panic about it, but to speak to them calmly and in a businesslike manner.

    Nothing to worry about...

My problem is when there is a lot of money of transfer per one
    transaction. They will investigate.
But until now, all problems solved within hours only.

In my experience (particularly with PayPal) the best way to get something taken care of is to get on the phone and keep talking up the line til your issue is resolved. They seem to have really turned their focus around in the past year and a half or so. They seem to be really trying to work with us a lot more than used to be the case...

    Just MHO!

This is why I can't stress enough that any serious Internet Marketer should be using PowerPay for CC merch.
