Alternatives to Craigslist 'Wanted' Section?

If i'm trying to buy a specific item, locally, globally, through the internet, where is another place that i can go besides the Craigslist 'Wanted' section? I'm looking for places that allow for people to put in requests for products or things that they need, like the Wanted section on Craigslist.
