How to monetise my traffic? Need advice

Hello,

I have a website with about 200 unique visitors a day and a FB profile with around 40k likes in DIY (do it yourself) niche. All visitors is from one Europe country and audience on FB is very targeted - it's mostly woman, around 25-40 years old. Any ideas how to monetise my traffic? I do not want to put any ads or spam my visitor, I'm thinking about selling some kind of product but can't think of what it could be. Thank you.

I'm open minded so it doesn't really matter. Both options are good with me

To tell you the truth with that traffic, which is decent, you need to think of growing it - first.

Second, DIY means you can sell a range of products for it. So you can add a shop to your website.

Also, you can sell services, like keeping your users portfolios or install a shop of DIY objects made by your website users. What do you think?

And maybe you have some exact thoughts about that could be sold in e-shop which niche is DIY?
And idea about people profiles with their crafts is really interesting, I'll keep that in mind.

    Hi,

    1. Get them onto an email list first by offering them an incentive like a FREE
report or video that gives them top 10 tips on your niche subject area etc.

    2. Add an opt in form to your website or place some kind of link or banner
that tells them they can get these 10 tips by clicking that link and then that link
can take them to separate lead capture page.

    3. Look to find some affiliate products that you can promote to them around the
DIY niche or even maybe even physical products too if you are willing to get your
    hands dirty.

    4. Once they are on your email list you aren't losing that traffic from your website
and at least you can then look to contact your leads whenever you have something
to share with them that they may need, want or desire.

It looks like you know how to get traffic that is targeted too so why not make
sure you can catch that traffic and store those emails into a database that you can
sell to, build relationships with and of course grow a business around too.

Yes, they are real. Thats because I do not promote my website on FB page and I'm really active on my FB profile, providing some high value content.

good advice: and you can add affiliate ads into your emails, as it was said above, too which also monetises your email base.

yet the question was about monetising traffic, I guess we should be more specific on this point here.

I think with that audience the bst thing you could do is send a weekly newsletter with discounts for diy products (and earn a commission as an affiliate).

First you'll need to set up a capture mechanism to get their email address. Then send them a weekly newsletter with offers. I think that should work fine and make you some good commissions

There are hundreds of ways to monetize your website, and some of them are simple while others are more complex and costly. Generating traffic is one of the most effective ways to monetize your website, this is because the more traffic your site has, the more likely you are to make sales, get clicks on pay-per-click advertisements, and get purchases through your affiliate programs. From search engine optimization (SEO) to joining affiliate programs, you can use these steps as a guide to learn how to monetize a website.

    1) Create content that utilizes relevant keywords related to your niche or topic
This is known as SEO. You can use Google to search for keywords that are likely to bring in profit and traffic to your website. Make sure that all of your content is grammatically correct and all words are spelled correctly. It is also imperative that none of your content is copied from another website.

    2) Sign up for Google Adwords, Google Adsense, and Google Analytic
    • Google Adwords is a paid service. Many other websites will give you free Google Adwords credits so that you can get your site up and running quickly and easily. Create your own ad, set up how much you want to pay out in a day, choose your keywords, and watch the traffic pour in.
    • Google Adsense is a tool that enables Google to place ads on your website. You can set up the ads to match your site's theme as well as the topic of your website.
    • Google Analytic will help you keep track of website views and clicks on your website.
    3) Sign up for affiliate programs
There are many affiliate programs available to website owners that are free and can help bring in profits. The most popular affiliate programs include Amazon.com. When a visitor on your site clicks on an ad by Amazon.com and makes a purchase, you are compensated according to the guidelines in your contract.

    4) Advertise on other websites, or sell advertising space on your website
Companies may pay a lot of money to place an ad on your website if you get a sufficient amount of traffic and your site is reputable and related to their topic. You can also purchase advertising on other websites by contacting them to see if they are selling any space.

    Hope these will help you...

My website is already banned from Adsense so this option is not available, but thank for your advice. As speaking about email marketing, this would be not very effective in my niche so I'm looking for other options.

      Why were you banned (reason)?
Did you try to unblock the website? How?

We need to investigate it - without Adsense it'll be hard to monetize properly.

I've banned because someone clicked on ads on my webpage too often and too much. I guess it's have been done by some of my rivals. I've tried to unlock it, but the answer from Google was negative.

E-mail marketing is not effective in my case because most of my audience (middle-aged housewives) do not even have e-mails or do not use it on a daily or weekly basis.

Have you tried to find logs? Statistics? Who was this someone? Was it made with some script?

There are bots and human-powered services that pay for clicking on adds. Did you use something of this kind?

Email marketing is effective in any niche

Why on earth would you not collect emails? it's basically traffic on demand...

No, I didn't use any services that click on ads. And I haven't tried to find logs or statistics. You think this would help? And is this no too late, because it've happened about 3 years ago.

After 3 years of decent behaviour you might consider to re-apply to AdSense I guess. Have you tried it?

Nope, but will try it now. But I'm not sure if I can do it again, if my case was already rejected once?
If Google unlocks my adsense account I would make some money from my web page but my main concern is how to monetise FB audience. Maybe posting links to my website would be the best way to do that.
