I was just doing a research on ezinearticles about an article I want to write when I came upon Reverse Cell Phone Lookup - Run a Reverse Lookup Phone Numbers Owner Found

checking the article you will see it has been viewed 42469 since March 19, 2009. Has only 137 back links according to site explorer.

How come the writer has so much views? What has he or she done to get so much views? I am certain 137 backlinks could have been the reason besides the article is no where near the first page for the search term " Reverse Cell Phone Search "

Hi Yommys,

i just checked your link and the article in question is showing 4191 views sine February 26th 2009. It is also targeting the keyword phrase "Reverse Cell Phone Lookup".

Upon checking, that phrase has 271,000 competing websites with quotes and 487,000 without quotes in Google. I can't find that article in the top 10 pages. But with 137 backlinks, depending of the quality, 4191 views is very possible. I am guessing as i can't find it ranked in the top 100 sites, most of views came very soon after publication.

What is interesting is the Google number 1 ranked site for the keyword phrase "Reverse Cell Phone Lookup" is also an Ezine Article. It was published on July 9th 2007 and has had 1,775,218 views.

My mistake, I linked to the wrong article. The right link is ( Reverse Cell Phone Search - Can You Actually Find the Information You're After? Only Some Will Work ).

And as for the other link, I think it 1,775,218 views is justifiable, the guy must have worked very hard to get as much view. No matter how you search on google, you will find his article provided you have the term "Reverse Cell Phone Lookup" in your phraseReverse Cell Phone Lookup

Lets not forget about Yahoo, have you checked there. I have some EA's that are no where to be found in Google yet Yahoo is sending them tons of traffic.

I have checked with both yahoo and msn ( seems msn is now call bing, right?). He is not in the top 3 for the 3 major search engines.

Something seems fishy here or maybe he has some little unknown secrets?
